ugghh back and arm pain from holding my week old princess all day everyday since that's the only way she sleeps. My mom told me to put her down and let her cry but that's hard to do especially since she's my rainbow baby but I know holding her all the time won't last much longer the way my body feeling
since everyone tells me I hold my daughter too much I guess I will never Hold her unless I'm feeding her.
is it wrong to be frustrated that my daughter acts like she can't do certain things with out my help. she plays dumb a lot and I wish I could be like no girl show what you know. she acts like she can't trace or match shapes so shes ask for "mommy finger" to help her so I barely hold her hand and she magically can do it but if I dont hold her hand she just scribbles and acts like she doesnt know the pic is how she traces when I'm "helping her" otherwise it'll just be scribbles all over the page
My baby has jaundice and lost almost 12% of her weight... I'm so sad all I want to is just hold her.
I hate my generation sometimes ? Today was my nieces baby shower, which went great. She got so much which amazing since she's been working 2 jobs trying to save up for the unpaid leave she'll have to take from work. Anyways I was talking to one of the ladies there since my son and her daughter were playing together. I asked her what her daughters name was, she said it was Layla. I told her that's a really pretty name and asked her if she was a Clapton fan and if she was named after the song. This girl had no idea who Eric Clapton is. ? ♀ One of the most iconic songs, and she had no idea. I hate my generation. ?
Is anyone else dead protective over their baby? My OH has a big family and they all want to come and see her which I get but I really struggle letting people hold her and pass her around without her being with me inbetween :(

so all newborns are clingy not just mine lol I get told all the time I'm spoiling her but I'd rather hold her than her cry her little lungs out from being in her crib this pain is crazy though lol do you hold your newborn through the night to @varduim

I've had really bad back & shoulder pain and realized it has to be from holding my baby (he's 11 days old now). I don't know if my body is getting used to it or what, but the last couple of days the pain has gone away. I hope it does for you too.
