I haven't been taking my prenatals my whole end of pregnancy bc the iron pills I take already make me so sick. Do think…

omg i was going through the same damn thing !!! i found a solution though maybe it could work for you too !! so i take my prenatal before bed every day, but once they gave the iron i couldnt take them together , i tried taking the iron early in the morning with orange juice but i threw up smh. took me a few days before i figured i have to take the iron mid day with food then the prenatal at night. its been working for me luckily

I'm anemic too. but I can't take any iron supplement bc they have the type of sulfur I'm allergic to. so I have to "eat" mine lol but when the doc was telling me about it, she said to take it opposite of my prenatal so it didn't make my tummy turn and with OJ! @mj3

@mj3, Well in my opinion, doctors are great for emergency births with complications but for regular prenatal care... They leave something to be desired. I hope it works out for you!

I've been telling her how sick it makes me and I asked her if there was something else I could take but she said no. I think she's just being lazy, or just doesn't care that I'm sick. I'm gonna try taking my prenatals at night since I take the iron in the morning, maybe that will help, I hope. Thank you.! @ligermama

@mj3, I had anemia too. And this supplement corrected it. You may want to ask about it... Especially if it's keeping you from taking your vitamins :) If not, hang in there! At the very least, fixing that anemia should make you feel much better!!

My doctor won't let me take anything else, she said I need to be on these iron pills until my anemia is regulated. :( @ligermama

Why don't you try an alternative iron source? I took Floradix instead of a pill. It's a liquid supplement that doesn't upset your stomach or make you constipated. I highly recommend it :) Also, I have to take my vitamins with a bunch of food to keep frim getting sick. Good luck!

I take mine at night, have them right next to my bed, I do forget some nights especially after a long day and im tired but I think you should be OK, just start taking them again or when you remember. set an alarm or put up a POST-IT note.

My doctor told me prenatal a are really important at the beginning when your baby is doing most of the growing and forming, and toward the end they're not as important so I think you're okay!

I feel like a bad mommy bc I can't take them, I take my iron though and do everything to keep it down. I just want my baby to be healthy. :( @alainalovesmommy

I was taking gummies, but it seems like nothing really helps bc the iron pill already makes me sick all day. /: @alainalovesmommy
