Love/hate watching girls give birth on tv and in movies. Water breaks everytime, they know for sure they're in labor (it's time!), race to the hospital (because labor is sooo fast, they might miss it!), go all natural with no preparation and give birth to clean, shiny 4 month old babies!! Lol 😅😉😁😁😁

Does anyone know how to properly "tweak" a pregnancy test? Like changing the settings on the picture to diaplay a very, very faint line? The internet told me how but I'd love to hear from a real person. I feel like a nut!!!

I highly recommend the documentary "The Business of Being Born". It really helped me make informed decisions about my pregnancy and birth. There were a lot of things about induction and other hospital interventions that I did not know and I'm glad I went in armed with the information to protect myself and my son :)

All you ladies up all night because you're uncomfortable, anxious, hungry, or have to pee... Remember this feeling and be kind and attentive to your baby when they won't sleep. They are brand new to the scary world and up for those same reasons :)

Writing a new post with this info and hoping more people see it. Your baby should not be sleeping with a blanket! Try a cozy sleep sack instead! :) It is just so dangerous and I want to keep spreading the message because these tragedies are preventable! Not meant to be judgemental, just informative. I know no one here would purposely harm their LO!

I HIGHLY recommend Happiest Baby on the Block. There's a book and dvd. You really only need thd dvd unless you want to understand why it all works. I am so grateful that someone told me about it before my son was born. Colic is very very rare and is probably not the reason your newborn is crying. Seriously, check it out!! :)

I get so nervous seeing pictures on here of little babies sleeping with blankets in the crib. So in case anyone wasn't aware... Here's a helpful graphic to describe the safest way for your baby to sleep according to the American Academy of Pediatrics. This isn't meant to be judgey... Just helpful :) This information isn't something we would just know, we have to learn it!

Whenever I get my period since giving birth, I feel really nostalgic for Nathan's birthday!! Looking at pictures of when he was first born!! I can't believe how big he is :)

I used to splurge on dresses. Now I have to budget the money I spend on baby toys!! :) #mommylife
