My cousin was able to get the police involved. I don’t know what he did but they ended up breaking into the hotel room where they had him. The people got away and I can’t really discuss it all but my uncle seems to be ok. His kids and him are still worried of retaliation. We won’t be going down for a long time. Any update? This is scary and horrid. I’m so sorry.

My exes uncle got kidnapped because they knew he was a well off business owner. Exes dad had connections cause he had fam in mexico and was able to get the uncle back for free. The kidnappers did not survive.

It's scary how many peoples fam members got kidnapped on here.

Im so sorry op. Its going to sound harsh but they won't return him alive unless your family can pay the full amount. Im think you wont and in that case you should get help from the marines or the army because town and state police are usually working with cartels. The only ones that will try to help are the marines or army. Cartels usually get upset if you get them involved but its the only chance you might have of rescuing your uncle. Ill be praying for you and your family so that you can have a positive outcome.

He wasn’t involved in anything. I can genuinely say that, he worked out of his garage fixing and reselling TVs. He raised on his own three children. Because his wife left him with the kids alone. He’s my moms brother.

Sadly they don't joke either. My cousin was kidnapped and literally chopped into tiny pieces that they sent him back in a cookie box...

HOWEVER, my cousin was doing bad stuff. Drug dealing and messing around like a big dawg. I hope it's not the case with your uncle OP. Sometimes local people mimic and stage it to look like they'll do something big but won't. Praying he gets let go. ❤️️

I'm so sorry, my sister in laws brother was also kidnapped in Mexico a couple a months ago. He was with a friend and they were both captured and the friend was released but her brother wasn't. They don't know if he isdead or is being forced to work with the cartel.

@ghaytach most Mexican cops are very much paid off and can be just as bad as the criminals. Either simply to profit or to avoid the criminals coming after them or their families.
