I started pumping 2-3 weeks after my son was born... only because he was fed on demand... but I noticed that pumping has increased my supply. I wish I would've pumped earlier.

My lactation consultant states its best to wait 2-3 weeks before pumping. She said wait until I'm spraying

is not recommended to pump till 6-8 weeks pp. over supply can cause mastitis a really painful infection and clogged milk ducts.

If you pump before your supply is established you will end up with an over supply & for now just nurse until 4 weeks to avoid nipple confusion

drinking I never drank while I was nursing my son because I was always scared he would get it in his system and he nursed alot. But since I only pump with my girls I figured it would be ok I think. It's been 3 years of either bring pregnant or nursing and with everything going on with all of my kids right now I NEED a drink. I wouldn't get drunk it would be just 1 drink like maybe 1 beer or a glass of wine. What r ur opinions on drinking and pumping?

Breast pump covered by insurance

Breast pump covered by insurance I've already done what I needed to find out what type of pump I get covered through insurance. It turns out, with my insurance, I can't even get my pump shipped to me until I call them with all the birth details of my baby. So...wth am I supposed to do having a baby and no pump?! I plan to pump exclusively and this REALLY throws a wrench in my plans.
