Yesterday I went out with my boyfriend went to watch a movie, me and him don't live together yet. but point is yesterday when he was dropping me off his like sleep over at my house witch the mom and dad lives. I said no, his response was why is everyone deciding or making choices for you and their going to do the same with the baby, when I know that's not true. what he thinks is that my mom tells me not to sleep over. So he left all mad. and I felt in my heart that he went on and cheated on me and did something else with an other girl.... and it's 10:51 am now and he hasn't texted me at all. and after he dropped me off I texted him saying what I felt and nothing. I don't know if I'm over reacting or what or what should i do. do i wait until he text me?
Ladies I called my insurance about breast pump and they said with their insurance in order to get a pump I get a prescription from doctor then I call 3 different numbers to see what my insurance covers but the only thing is I have to wait til baby is born to call and get pump so I want to at least buy a hand pump which do you ladies recommend for hand pump and when I can get a pump from insurance please n thank you 💖💖
need suggestions.... So at work we have a drink thief. Any time we put a drink in the fridge it disappears. I swear I know who it is. So far he's taken drinks from everyone that works in the office, we even put a sign to not take anything you didn't pay for and wrote our names on the drinks. The person I think is taking them works out of the office so we never get to see who is drinking them.
My doctor said he would induce my labor at 38 weeks, if my baby girl still had growth issues and if the percentile dropped to 10 or less. Last thursday, it was 10 percentile, and he said if she didn't come on her own by 38 weeks, he would induce labor at that time. I'm 36 weeks 1 day today, he said my cervix was super thin, and 1cm dilated. Is there a possibility this can change... that my doctor will let her just come on her own? I don't want to be induced, i would much rather her come on her own when she is ready to come ! As much as I am anxious to meet her and have her home with me, those last few weeks of brain development and lung maturation means so much more to me! I'm hoping and praying that things turn around, and I don't have to get induced. I'm surely going to talk to my doctor about it Thursday when I go back.
My son loves the bottle more than my breast 😫 he gets so fussy when I give him my breast but has no issue with with bottle. As long as his eating I’m okay with it. I’ve been pumping and I hate pumping!!

I don't drink or pump and I can't remember if dr Sears or someone else said it but I've always heard any amount of alcohol is too much for baby. I'd say so what feels right, you're the mama!:)

Drink! I love a good microbrew beer WHILE I'm nursing. Seriously. By the time it affects my breastmilk, baby is done nursing and I have my 1-2 hour window built in! I never overindulge - just one beer here and there.

I've never worried about drinking and nursing. Like September said the amount of alcohol in breastmilk is negligible. I'm a wine drinker. Sometimes it's the only thing I have to look forward to after a long day with the kids!

I stay away from the super super cheap wine. I found a bottle at a liquor store called Malvasia (or something like that?) when I was like 21 and it's been my favorite wine ever since!

I do the two hour rule! My son was unpredictable with feedings so it was hard to ever squeeze in a drink! But sometimes it was nice to put him to bed & catch up on some tv with a drink! I learned to really appreciate the taste of alcohol lol!

I don't like much wine but a few that I like are Barefoot Moscato (it's great cold!) and Yellowtail Merlot. I'm a cheap wino haha as those are each less than $12.

Don't buy the strips! They are worthless. Here's the best thing that put it in perspective: the legal limit for driving is .08%. At that point, your breastmilk is .08% alcohol. Orange juice is .08% alcohol too. That's nothing. At .08%, especially for someone who doesn't drink much, you'll be feeling drunk. Not buzzed but drunk. So drink up and don't feel the least bit of guilt!
And I agree: drink whatever sounds good and you enjoy! If you don't drink wine normally, you probably won't like it. Some white dessert wines or a sparkling Muscat are good starting points though.

I've also seen alcohol test strips for bm at target but I think they're pretty expensive.

I also follow safe to drive, safe to nurse. I would have a drink while you're pumping and then it'll be a couple hours before the next time you pump!

Definitely ok to have a drink! Although if you don't normally drink wine and never have you might want to go with something you know you like. Or make a sangria. It would be awful to have a drink to relax only to not like it!

Haha. I am not really a wine drinker. However there is only 1 type of wine that i like, not really sure but i think its called Ice Wine? It is the thinnest bottle of wine and only holds the volume of a can of Coke... Sorry not much help here as i dont buy wine by myself ☺️

Drink up! Lol how else do you survive 3 kids that young? I've been given looks for nursing while drinking but it's the best time to do it. Oh well! I know it's safe so that's all that matters.

I ep. A drink would probably be ok. As how they put it, it is safe to drink if it is safe to drive. For me, i would wait 2hrs after the drink to pump. There is no need to pump and dump, it is such a waste of our liquid gold. ?

I'm of the "safe to drive, safe to nurse" mind because alcohol leaves your breastmilk just like it leaves your bloodstream, with time. No need to pump and dump. With that said, the general rule of waiting one hour per drink would suffice.
