pumping?
Ive only nursed non stop, but i would like to pump so i can go to the store or go out with my husband for an hr. But im nervous to pump. Anyone else? What if i pump and take away his food nd won't have any.
I’ve had to go to pumping because he wasn’t patching properly breastfeeding and doing more damage then good, he also wasn’t getting enough milk.
Pumping is great because it gives me a schedule all day and I know exactly how many mls of food he’s getting.
At the moment I’m pumping every three hours for 15mins. By the three hour mark my breasts are super engorged and ready for the release.
I’ve got a huge stash of frozen milk already and will be looking to revise my pumping schedule in the coming weeks so it frees up a bit more time for me during the day.
I feel like I would fumble the pump if I tried to use it on one side while baby nursed on the other. I have a feeling that pumping isn't going to be my sting suit. Very upsetting too since the company I got the pump from charged my insurance and then still billed me for more than I would have paid at the store to buy the pump outright. Oh well, live and learn I guess.
Noo i saw thd post after. I pumped when baby was asleep for a good hour.
I pumped for 10 min i got 3 oz of milk. Didnt want to do it to long at first hopefully good enough.
I would pump after but my little one is still feeding alot to where he eats right after he finishes. Yea maybe a little at a time. He wont take a pacifier so idk if he will feel the same about the bottle.
I'm afraid to start pumping too. Not so much because I will not have enough to feed him still, but because I seem to be producing the perfect amount of milk right now and I don't want to mess with the balance. You can pump a little at a time and add to it if it's all from the same day, so maybe we should try that to start.
Breastfeeding moms: so I am planning on going on a 3 day vacation with my hubby & a bunch of friends to Catalina in May, (my baby won't be going with us) and I do not wanna be pumping and dumping every 2 hours out there.. so if I don't pump or breastfeed for 3-4 days, will my milk supply drop significantly? 😩😩 & I don't know how I'm gonna deal with the engorgement pain if I can't find time to pump out there.

took me 10 minutes to pump this from both breast after feeding Ethan for 25 minutes. My milk supply is going crazy yesterday I pumped 8 bottles my milk stash is going to be great
Ladies I called my insurance about breast pump and they said with their insurance in order to get a pump I get a prescription from doctor then I call 3 different numbers to see what my insurance covers but the only thing is I have to wait til baby is born to call and get pump so I want to at least buy a hand pump which do you ladies recommend for hand pump and when I can get a pump from insurance please n thank you 💖💖
Anybody tried these? I'm going to be breastfeeding and pumping when I go to work so I want the transition between boob and bottle to be smooth as possible.
Thats great when my boobs werent engorged i onky got one ounce from one side and 2 from another. :( depressing
