This may an extreme TMI but i need to ask... I am a very clean person down there and all of a sudden past 2 days iv been itchy and have like a increased amount of like a clear/white creamy discharge and lose stool thats literally like almost emerald green in color like when a baby is sick... Idk what to think and i dont want to go to doc and them say its fine and send me home... What u ladies think?? Any help is appreciated cause im a FTM and idk if this is normal or not....
@peanut0915, Sorry such late response but they checked and said everything is fine. Landon is still breech so they watchin to make sure he flips but they did 2 swabs and tested for some kind of std i havent heard of b4 and for BV and yeast infection and they said everything is good so not sure. She did tell me it could be small pieces of my mucus plug if it's more snot like but she said the discharge can increase towards end too as a natural lube i guess for baby to come out. so everything is fine and i guess it was a ftm worry haha
@tysonnsmommy, Ok! well i have a appt set for 1140 tomorrow so hopefully they can tell me whats going on. and i will tag u when i find out@peanut0915
@landon1002 it can come out whenever! My friends just came out and she's 28 weeks also!
@peanut0915, Thats not tmi cause i do the same thats why i said b4 i stay clean. and it is snot like but its like clear/whiteish in color. no brown or green like. i had braxton hicks past 3 weeks but no regular pattern or timing so i know its not true contractions. and all i use is dove as well and that's all iv used for like past few years haha sad to say but i stick to what i like so im just unsure. i will let u know what doc says cause thats why i asked on here cause iv tried googling stuff but im getting so many things and im just at a loss. hopefully its just something small and minor haha.
Mucus plug is the consistency of snot...just like the kind when you're sick and blow your nose. It's yellow/greenish and sometimes contains a little brownish, which is old blood. The mucus plug can grow back if your body isn't ready for labor yet. So if you lose it early on, it doesn't have to mean you're going into labor. If the mucus if is accompanied by contractions and/or red/brown blood, labor is on its way usually. I'm very curious to see what your dr will say about the discharge. Like I said, I've had it all along and no infections even when I did have mild itching. I only use dove body wash but it can still irritate you down there cuz our hormones are so all over the place. I stay away from using anything down there and just wash really well, spreading it all, etc (sorry maybe tmi) I hope this helps.
@peanut0915, Ya there is no smell at all. Just the discharge is there and its like increased more then normal. I made a doc appt for tomorrow after talking to triage nurse. She said it sounds like Bacterial vaganosis? or a yeast infection which iv never had b4 so that's unfamiliar to me so ill just let doc make sure everything is ok. Might be my mucus plus as well which im a FTM so idk what to even begin to look for with that so this is all new to me haha
The white discharge is at times a good thing, because it prevents infections. I've had it my entire pregnancy. It's yucky but I rather have that than constant infections. It shouldn't smell...if it does, might wanna bring it up to your dr.
@junesmommy15, Ok ill call and see if they can get me in!! Thank you everyone!
Antibiotics or Monistat cream. I was never recommended to use the cream later in my pregnancy though. You just have to make a trip to the doctor. It is so common and nothing to worry about. Just make sure you get to the doctor to get it cleared.
White cottage cheese looking discharge and vaginal itching. It is so common when you get pregnant. I had a few when I was pregnant.
@junesmommy15, Iv never had a yeast infection before. So im not sure what to look for
@mssjudyk, Ya there is no smell at all which is what i was thinking first was like bacteria or something but I havent changed soaps or anything so idk if its my Ph maybe. @shortizzie i didnt know u could lose it that early!! maybe thats what it is. idk maybe ill call and just make them listen and see what they say.
itchy is not always a good sign... but it's normal sometimes... I say only be concerned if it stinks.. the white mucous is normal when pregnant
@tysonnsmommy, Im only 28 weeks though... I didnt think that happened till like 35 weeks. @shortizzie when i call and ask anything its like all they ask is if there is blood or patterned cramping. If not its like they arent interested and try to get u off the phone.
I'm glad everything is ok and hope he flips. Try some exercises.
