Lila's Birth Story
I am going to start this off with a timeline:
9/17 - 1:33am (Approx) - Woke up to go pee - no contractions, or any other signs of labor
9/17 - 4:44am - Woke up to go pee again. At this point, I couldn't fall back asleep, but still no contractions or signs of labor. I laid there on my left side until I heard and felt a pop in my stomach. I didn't think much of it. A few minutes later, my left hip started hurting and I got a belly ache sensation, so I turned on my right side. Go...

Birth Announcement: Lila Izabel born 9/17/15 at 10:22am; 7lbs 8oz; 20" long. Water broke. My labor was extremely quick. I went from 3cm to baby in less than 2 hours. I will post a birth story soon.

I have a Doppler at home and was feeling off as we laid down and watched tv in bed. Put the Doppler to my tummy and baby's HR was 170-180 resting. Steve and I have both read several articles and it says that it's should be no higher than 160 at this point in pregnancy. I rested for an hr on my left side them took
BP again as well
As baby's heart beat...still the same. I dunno if I'm overreacting or if I just need to try to go to sleep. Steve seems to think everything is fine but my gut isn't say...

VENT: 😡 Steve's job requires him to travel...a lot. Well, in the last couple months we agreed that he'd tell his boss he can't travel cuz I'm close to having the baby. He's one of the 6 uppers in his company and is really good at what he does, which entails bidding on construction jobs all over the U.S., giving presentations, etc. They had an open house in Anaheim, CA today (we live in Phoenix, AZ) and they asked him to go just for the day. Well, he went and now he's stuck in CA cuz all the flig...

One thing I don't understand about women on this app - you "like" a status that shouldn't be "liked"...sorry, it's insensitive.

FYI ladies :) they're pretty good deals. I ordered a few things.

The baby's room is done. Just picking up the recliner/glider tomorrow at Costco 😀 (pics in comments)
