Is it wrong/unhealthy to gate my 1&1/2 year old to his own area of the house? I’m in his room all the time playing interacting etc. He can’t go anywhere except his room and the hallway (the bathroom door stays shut when not in use) my mom makes me feel awful but it’s for his safety and my boyfriend has a lot of technology and unsafe non kid friendly things around the house(they can’t just be “put up”)

So my mom claimed my son and I on her taxes because we lived with her and she provided more for us than anyone could do (myself included). My son’s dad thinks he’s entitled to half the money she’s giving me for the simple fact that he’s his dad. He already got his own taxes (more than I will have) and his defense is that he worked for that money...opinions? 👀

I’m so confused with why my 9 month old will sleep through the night at his dad’s and not at my mom’s...same amount of sound, light, and temp. Door closed at both places 🤷🏽‍♀️😪

I just tried telling my SO and FOMC that I needed time and space to find myself again. He’s not understanding why we can’t do it together. Anyone’s babes act NOTICEABLY different after shots? Specifically 6 month shots? Mine just wants to be held. Normally he’ll cry about 10-15 minutes (me checking on him every 5) and then he’s asleep. Now, after shots on Tuesday he doesn’t want to play very long, won’t sleep unless held and rocked, just overall fussy all day. Still sleeps through the night though. My poor babe 😪

My almost 6 mo old is teething, you can see the bumps where the two bottom will soon be. We go to his dads Saturday-Tuesday and last weekend he said “idc if you’re teething I’m still gonna let you cry” and he’s very serious he will put him in his bed and shut the door and go about his day. Doesn’t phase him. But it does phase me and I don’t think it’s right while teething...I’m getting very anxious about going this weekend because if I pick him up or cuddle with him or hold him he gets mad at me...
