Question for moms who rock or rocked their 5+ babes to sleep...yes or no? I’ve been trying to have mine sit by himself throughout the day and he’s doing alright. But I’m struggling to decide on sleep. Sometimes he falls asleep on his own on the couch, other times it gets a lil past bedtime and he has to be held and rocked. I just don’t want to make him too dependent. My mom says one thing and his dad says another. It’s hard to decide because she’s had kids and this is our first. He thinks I’m turning our 5 month into a solely dependent wussy boy 🙄😭😡 and my mom thinks I’m being controlled by his dad 🤬😤😩
He’s only 5 months. He’s a baby. He is completely dependent and that’s ok. I never rocked my baby but he always fell asleep nursing. He’s 2.5 and before bed we read stories and cuddle until he falls asleep. It’s our special time together. Do what you feel is right but in my opinion, 5 month olds still need their mamas
Yesterday I went out with my boyfriend went to watch a movie, me and him don't live together yet. but point is yesterday when he was dropping me off his like sleep over at my house witch the mom and dad lives. I said no,
his response was why is everyone deciding or making choices for you and their going to do the same with the baby, when I know that's not true. what he thinks is that my mom tells me not to sleep over. So he left all mad. and I felt in my heart that he went on and cheated on me...
Do you guys think there’s a difference between when moms say “I’m a boy mom” than when they say “I’m a mom of boys”?
I do but I wanted to know if others think so also lol.
I feel like a bad mom my baby cried his self to sleep 😢. But I was cooking and his dad was busy doing his homework for his college class . And he wanted to be carried 😢😔😕... Is it bad to let him cry?

This is a face of a mom that's baby will only sleep if he's either on mom/dad or in our bed. 'I'll never let him sleep in our bed, he needs to sleep in his' yeah right... okay mom... at the same time I worry so much about him sleeping with us... but we all need sleep! 😴😴 anyone else let their bab sleep with them? 👍
I rocked my oldest until 2.5. Then we moved onto snuggles. Now I just sit with him for a couple minutes and he goes to sleep on his own. My youngest I rock and will probably rock until 1-1.5. He’s capable of going to sleep himself any time but bedtime, and he’ll only let me do it.
