So my mom claimed my son and I on her taxes because we lived with her and she provided more for us than anyone could do (myself included). My son’s dad thinks he’s entitled to half the money she’s giving me for the simple fact that he’s his dad. He already got his own taxes (more than I will have) and his defense is that he worked for that money...opinions? 👀

Tell him to eff off. I don't mean this to sound shitty, but technically you're not entitled to the money either but obviously your mom is nice enough to let you have it. I wouldn't give him anything. Being a parent doesn't make you entitled to tax money. Whoever provided the child with care is.

He 100% does not deserve any of that money. That is your mother's money which she is choosing to give some to you. And if I were your mother I would make sure that you don't give him a dime!! Men don't want to be Father's when it comes to them paying but once the opportunity to get money comes up they come running!!! They'll be there 100% acting like father of the year. Regardless of what your situation is now. Whether he hardly saw him at all for the first few months and now get them half the time he still has absolutely no right to that money. I hate men that are when I feel like it Father's. A when I feel like it father doesn't deserve shit.

Idk if you worked, or if you provide snap or anything, but if not, I'd be very appreciative that she's giving u any of it (which I am sure you are). And he should appreciate the fact that someone took care of his child and child's mother. Im sorry if I seem rude. But my MIL provides for her daughter, granddaughter, her daughters boyfriend and his kid. The bf JUST got a job. But for 3, almost 4 years, my MIL, her husband and son(husband now deceased and son in jail) have financially supported them. They just got taxes back and havnt given my MIL a penny. After all she's done for them

@taylor.bush29 yea. Men think they are entitled bc they donated the sperm. We claimed one of my step sons this year. We pay child support, pay all the copays,more than half of school supply, hair cuts, clothes and more. We have them friday-momday, almost every holiday,and then extra days bc their mom can't be bothered. I think we should claim both, but we only claim one.

The case worker. He told her that he had him on his health insurance and she asked how much he pays and she said okay we’ll as long as your paying that...I wasn’t there when he was talking to her I’m sure he lied and said he has him half the time and provides the diapers formula wipes clothes bottles etc....he didn’t his family did. Which was fine cause my baby was taken care of....but now? I’ve been more than fair with this man because he lost his mom last year 2 weeks before our son was born so he was kinda absent for the first couple months...but 🤷🏽♀️

He would still have to pay child support and normally it’s the father who has to supply health insurance point blank. And per child custody you have to switch years only if he has been paying child support for the entire year considering your baby is only 10 months and you have no child support order that Man ain’t entitled to sh*t

Yesterday I went out with my boyfriend went to watch a movie, me and him don't live together yet. but point is yesterday when he was dropping me off his like sleep over at my house witch the mom and dad lives. I said no, his response was why is everyone deciding or making choices for you and their going to do the same with the baby, when I know that's not true. what he thinks is that my mom tells me not to sleep over. So he left all mad. and I felt in my heart that he went on and cheated on me and did something else with an other girl.... and it's 10:51 am now and he hasn't texted me at all. and after he dropped me off I texted him saying what I felt and nothing. I don't know if I'm over reacting or what or what should i do. do i wait until he text me?

He saw a post she made where she bashed her parents and cursed them, called them lazy and told them they should pay her for stuff she did around the house... I need some help/knowledge on child support and taxes?! Her father pays child support monthly.. My daughter lives with me, I haven't filed my taxes yet. I'm planning on doing it this weekend. My ex just texted me and said - "Hey my dad is doing my taxes for me and he needs ur social security number n your full name, cause I need to claim back some of the taxes from the child support. And he said u can still claim Mia it won't affect it he already asked the tax people. So if u can send it over that be great thanks." However, when I googled it...I found out child support is outside of taxes. I FEEL like he's lying to me to try to get my social so he can claim our daughter. Anyone know?!
Has anyone ever gotten a check rather than direct deposit for your tax return? I’m letting the boys dad claim them because he made way more than me but he can’t open a bank account because of over drafting his other account 😩 i feel like it’s gonna take forever for us to get the check.. haven’t even filed yet cause we’re still waiting on his 1099 form!
Does your dh/SO cry in front of you? Dh is having an awful day and pretty much said he ended the relationship he has with his dad and one of his older brothers. They were constantly putting him down and dh got defensive and said some things to his brother and his dad took his brothers side and told dh that since he’s younger than he needs to respect his older brother. A lot more was said and it all started about taxes because his brother thinks he knows everything about owning a business and selling it.
