Breastfeeding question !!

My son is 1 week old and has bad reflux. We try our best to almost never lay him flat, when we do it’s instant spit up ( the amount depending on how long ago he was fed)

He is a great nurser! I have a great milk supply but
I just went through the engorgement period and now that the painful engorgement period is over it seems my let down is really fast and strong.

Sooo just food for thought and a little TMI..

We live in a row home with one bathroom upstairs. I just drank my coffee and it hit me, I had to go !
I said to Bella (18m old) let’s go upstairs mommy has to go potty !

She didn’t budge ! So I picked her up and upstairs we went. With a newborn coming in March, I’m sitting on the toilet thinking what if I had my newborn just now ?

Do I carry them both upstairs ? We have a cat so i don’t think leaving the newborn in the swing would be okay ?

Has any of your LOs gotten jealous and tried to stop you from nursing the baby while you were nursing ? Or try to move their heads out of curiosity?

Was your LO allowed in the hospital to visit you and the new baby??

I’m worried because it’s flu season that she won’t be allowed to come and visit us ! My C-section is scheduled in four weeks and I’m hoping that everyone’s not as sick by then 🥴
