Baby was facing down, so they were having trouble measuring the fluid in the neck but doctor came back saying everything looked normal!!
We took our genetic bloodwork and also bloodwork for quiet diseases, which is a first for me . I never got that with Bella. But they say it’s for sickle cell, and a few others? Praying for negative results!
@brianamestichelli, Yes that’s what it is they can add it in to the genetic testing, I only got to have it done this second time because my secondary insurance covered it. Secondary just means my second insurance, you can have more than one insurance so that when your primary insurance doesn’t pay all of something the secondary will pick up what’s left.
@thawkins, ohhh really! I’m still on my dads benefits since we’re not married until October2020, then I would be on my husbands !
@brianamestichelli, I’m married and still on my dads until I’m 26 and then I have my Medicaid as well.
I was due April 1st and had my daughter March 30th!🥰 Congratulations and the genetic testing will give you peace of mind I had it done with both of my children, also if your insurance covers it they have a gender marker they can check as well! My insurance didn’t cover it with my daughter so I had to wait until 20 week scan, but now I have secondary insurance and did blood work at 11 weeks and they called me the next week and told me I was having a boy.
