Почему нам отказывают в приёме без вакцины для 2-месячного ребёнка?

I'm so angry right now!!!

Per the recommendation of our baby's normal health care provider we chose to wait on the needed vaccine for his age until he was 2 months. His two month appointment was set for yesterday and we received a call last week it needed to be changed to December because the provider was out on a medical leave. Reset the appointment, no worries. Now DH and I are under the weather, have an appointment this afternoon to be seen by our provider, and the baby is running a fever. On hold for 50 minutes for the nurse line, another 20 for an appointment and we decided to drop in to make an appointment.

They refuse to see him if he is over 2 months old and doesn't have his vaccine. Even though it came at the recommendation of their own provider. We were told we have to take him to the ER for a "total work up". They refused any medical advice and wouldn't give dosage for Tylenol or anything. I told the woman I didn't know if my thermometer is accurate and she reiterated he had to go to the ER. He has no symptoms of illness, no congestion, no cough, nothing. He is just warm. Temp is now running below the 100.4 they tell you to worry about at his age, thank God, so i know he is ok. But come on! This is ridiculous. Thank you for letting me vent.
