Yesterday I went out with my boyfriend went to watch a movie, me and him don't live together yet. but point is yesterday when he was dropping me off his like sleep over at my house witch the mom and dad lives. I said no, his response was why is everyone deciding or making choices for you and their going to do the same with the baby, when I know that's not true. what he thinks is that my mom tells me not to sleep over. So he left all mad. and I felt in my heart that he went on and cheated on me and did something else with an other girl.... and it's 10:51 am now and he hasn't texted me at all. and after he dropped me off I texted him saying what I felt and nothing. I don't know if I'm over reacting or what or what should i do. do i wait until he text me?
My sons dad messaged me and wants to talk to my son.. He doesnt know him. My kid knows of him but doesnt know him. Hes 10 and hasnt seen him since he was 4 and barely the years before that. Im not sure how to respond or just ignore it.
@itsamemario, you deleted your post before I could hit send but this is my comment: I don’t know if this answers your question but this is my answer. My son is 7 and he knows race and color. Why? Because he himself comes from a family that is multi racial and because he has already experienced racism. I also believe as his mother it’s my job to teach him color and the cold hard truth about society. He knows what’s going on in this world. I’d be hurting him if I allowed him to blindly walk outside without this information. Children of color are being targeted and killed too. It’s not just adults. I let my son know we treat everyone equally and with respect. I let him know that we love everyone for their differences. In every aspect. Color, race, ethnicity, religion, sexual preference we love everyone.
i finally let him do it I finally let DF throw away my foundations. He says I look better without it. He said he hates seeing me cover my face with make up when I can just wear mascara and eyeliner. He says it makes me look fake and he said he's not saying it to be mean, hes saying it because he cares. Im glad he's real with me. He says I have natural beauty. He says he doesn't like it when I dye my hair or wear make up because he loves my natural beauty. I know some girls feel as though that they need make up but they don't. Make up to me is just to do it for fun and sometimes when I feel insecure. Hes the only man that has made me feel beautiful without my hair straightened, without make up on and in my baggy clothes. I can burp in front of him, I can do weird things in front of him, etc. He has taught me so many things in the last (almost) 3 years and im so grateful for him. He taught me how to make pork chops and steaks, how to play some videogames, how to make white rice, how to budget, etc.
Question: 16 year old dating an q8 year old? Thoughts?? My opinion is hell no. 16 year old is still a kid. Kids now a days want to be grown so bad and be in adult relationships and situations. I know when my daughters are 16 and they tell me they are dating an 18 year old. I will surely flip my lid.

You canNOT take away time with his father as a punishment, for ANYTHING. That's freakin horrible.

@mommy_391 You LITERALLY do though. 🤦♀️ When taking his tablet away didn't change his attitude, you moved to "Fine, you're not going to your Dad's this weekend. He's SIX, he will see it NO other way than you're taking away time with his Dad cause of his attitude/actions....PUNISHMENT. I think you need to reread what you wrote and possibly rethink/go back over the conversation with your kid again and pay attention to how you reacted. You just need to have a conversation with him on your time. Period.🤷♀️

@mommy_391, you can agree in court so that it’s court record. That way you have something to fall back on. Don’t let anyone tell you that you can “agree out of court” that’s just their way to manipulate the situation and if they bail, your kids get nothing. You can even file for certain agreed upon things and submit it to court with a lawyer.

I know but I'm not trying to argue with him he has decide before not to take our kids with him for 2 months.. or take our daughter since we didn't have a court order.but you right best to go to court and come to a agreement or judge decide if we don't agree??

that is the typical schedule for the non-custodial parent. You can have the schedule modified in court and give their dad 50/50 if you feel like it’s too much but you cannot take away parenting time for this and you can’t threaten it to him either. The court will see it as alienation.

yeah since he is not around them just 2 weekends he tries to give them what they want or do..i get it it's not his fault..but I'm m
over here alone trying to teach them their behavior it's not acceptable..

both parents are responsible for the child’s behavior. You cannot blame it all on his dad. Which is why you need to ask your pedi for a behavior referral and get it under control before it gets worse. It’s not all his dads fault or all your fault.

I didn't say it was a punishment not to see his dad...horrible is not helping our kid like he should do...

Have you considered therapy? You can’t just threaten to or take away court ordered parenting time as a punishment for bad behavior. He deserves time with each willing parent. His dad isn’t a privilege, he’s a right to be able to see him. You guys need to work out a healthy co-parenting plan and definitely try therapy for his aggressive behavior but it’s not ever fair to tell him he won’t see his dad. What if his dad did that to you?

@mommy_391, he doesn’t get to decide though lol that’s what court is for. Court decides parenting time and child support.

yeah we don't have court order...since he only decide 2 weekends a month since he works every day and it's 2 hrs away..I get incharge of them all the time school Doctor..I try so many times for him to spend time with them but no...or coparent with him and nothing..I know it shouldn't be what I say, but he decided only the kids money and 2 weekends

you can talk to him on your parenting time. It’s not ok to take away the other parents time. You haven’t been doing it by yourself if his dad has full weekend visits, that’s typically the schedule. If you want it modified to have this child with his dad more you can petition the court but threatening another parents time is a huge no no and I’m glad he agreed.

yes I say that but i didn't write that he would be staying with me to talk about why he is acting like that with me since I not going to have my other 2 kids..my time will be just for him might be that I don't get alone time with him or much attention as he needs..his dad gives them what ever they want he dosed tell them anything..yeah his dad took it the wrong way or you but I been doing it all by my self..
Mamabirdddd··
Мама сына (4 года)
wait but your post literally said he can’t go to his dads on his dads weekend as a punishment for hitting you.... so?! Did you write it wrong or....?

Мама троих детей
I didn't theaten to take his time with our son??..he is the one not spending time with his son or helping with his behavior.. I just talk to him about what it's going on..since he never trying to coparent with me..
Mamabirdddd··
Мама сына (4 года)
you can talk with him on your parenting time then. You can’t threaten to take his dads parenting time away, that is alienation and he can get you in court. Advocate for your son and talk to his pediatrician about a behavior referral for counseling. The only thing you’re doing by threatening other parent time is causing abandonment issues. He is only 6.

Yeah that's what he told me..what if he did that to me...we don't really talk much..and it seems we are not in the same boat..it's not a punishment just that weekend to be alone with him and talk to him about what happened.I told his dad..we haven't talk about therapy, sometimes I think if me not been with his dad cause him to act like that..
