My 17yr old son went to the shop for me earlier for washing up liquid. He came home covered in blood, missing a tooth and battered and bruised. What sort of a society do we live in when your children are beaten to a pulp. All because he didn't know someone called Lewis.

Omg thats absolutely disgusting! I pray they find who done this to your boy! And get the punishment they deserve! Thank you so much. This is a week I can't wait to see the back of. My son is ok, he's getting fed up of me fussing over him now. We're going to the hospital later today so hopefully he'll be ok xx
There was 4 of them. They hit him over the head with a metal bar and all kicked and stamped on him when he was on the floor. He needs an operation to remove fragments of his tooth from his gums. I reported it to the police but no doubt they won't be caught. Thanks for all your messages xx

My son got jumped on and his jaw broke (to the point they had to put his face back together with metal plates in emergency surgery) at aged 14 all cause he didn’t have a lighter 🤬xxx

He's currently having xrays at Fazakerley hospital. They're concerned he's got hairline fractures in his jaw and worried about his blood pressure. He's with his Dad, I'm at home with my youngest children. I feel like a bad mum

He's fine thanks. I was worried it might affect his mental health and he'd be scared to go out, but he said he'd done nothing wrong so he'd do what he wanted. The police said there was another similar attack on 2 boys who don't live far from us. They think it's connected xx
