Lorenzo gets like one or two randomly all the time idk why but they tested him for everything pretty much that you usually get tested for. It’s always on his legs or butt. Like tonight he got one on his leg and one hive on his butt when he pooped

No he doesn’t. But he’s completely gluten free. No oats, barely, anything he can only have rice and corn.

Lorenzo will still get Random hive looking pumps like randomly on his legs or arm I’m like wth but he’s also has sensitive skin

@mommakayla18, he was also throwing up a lot and we didn’t know why but once he went gluten free it stopped so it must of been part of his allergy. But he had hives all over! He was red and puffy

Omg so scary! My son only broke out in little hives and would throw up if he had milk only time was with mash potatoes and with yogurt

@mommakayla18, he had a severe allergic reaction to a biscuit his father gave him when he was out with him and I had to rush him to the ER. He has a epi pen now thankfully cause that scared the hell out of me I thought he was going to stop breathing.

What made you think he had to gluten problems before getting tested?

@mommakayla18, it’s hard to explain you’ll have to look it up. It has to do with your immune system I believe

What is IGA and IGG

My son did prick and blood. His egg was 0.16 and milk 0.27 which is very low level his wheat was 7.19 which is high level. Also his IGA and IGG levels were really low. And that’s how they said he has a true allergy and his immune system could be off but he hasn’t really been sick so that’s good! And I was told the egg and milk were so low that we didn’t have to act on it. But he has a sensitivity to milk for sure.

Did you do the prick test or did you do blood test? We did blood test at 11 months and he will get one done every year before his birthday

And we have no milk or egg allergies in the family. My mom is allergic to bananas and walnuts and she didn’t get that allergy till she was 20

She says gluten, nuts and lactose you most never grow out of

His dr has hope that he will grow out of it hopefully before he starts kindergarten

Oh wow. We never seen a allergist only his dr who did the blood test. So let’s say 6 being the highest allergy level and .10 being the lowest level. For dairy his was 2.38 and for egg it was 0.48

@mommakayla18, my son showed a very low level for milk but they never said anything about it but he suffers from extreme constipation so I cut dairy out and well idk if it really helps and a lot of the people who take care of my son don’t stick to it even though I’ve told them. :/ he like lives in miralax. But he has the highest level allergy for wheat and his doctor told me it’s a true allergy based on his blood work always coming back with not good levels. So that sucks! I hope the dairy thing he grows out of. I’m trying to get a new pediatric gastroenterologist cause the one he had she wasn’t that great and she’s leaving her practice.

And oh man that’s tough to. Usually you don’t grow out of gluten allergy and lactose intolerant right?

@mommakayla18, I know with a lot of recipes you can substitute applesauce for oil. So it might work for eggs.

Is your son allergic to milk or is he just lactose?

I’m contemplating on substituting it with apple sauce and seeing how it goes s
