I went to the dr today for my acne and he said I would prescribe you this medicine but insurance probably won’t cover it because of your age 😕😢 like I get it but I am 34, he made me feel like I am ancient

How about antibiotics? I used them for awhile for hormonal acne. I was on accutane as a teen and it’s brutal. Plus anything that interferes with wine in not ok. I need to go back to the dermatologist though. I’m older than you and still have acne issues 🤬
@rowdy-vajazzy, Mine is getting worse and I know it has a lot to do with my diet. He did prescribe antibiotics and a topical cream. He also said I have to cut out all dairy and limit red meat. I will go like a week without dairy, not see a difference and then start eating it again. I know I need to give it more time it’s just hard 🤦🏽♀️
Ask for a referral to a dermatologist.
He was a dermatologist. He did prescribe me medication but was saying I was too old for Accutane, it just hurt my feelings lol 😂 I didn’t want Accutane anyway because I like to drink wine
