I am so stressed right now!!!
My OB doesn’t want to take me anymore because I am too “high risk” so I got a new one they don’t want to see me either. They referred me to a group one hour way from my house. But there is only one high risk dr and he doesn’t know if he could see me.
I feel like I should not see any at this point.

@angelfoodcake, yes it’s not a big deal. I had two prefect pregnancy there is no reason to act like this is life or death because it’s not that big of a deal. I see someone for my lung and iron.
@mommyoftwoangels They are doing you a favor, sounds like the type of practice who would perform a emergency C-section just to fulfill another obligation - lazy is what I'm getting. Seriously.

@mommyoftwoangels low iron and obesity doesn't sound that major, In a good way - meaning they should be able to handle ! Seems like they can send you to a specialist for he lung issue and work hand in hand. But at this point I wouldn't want to fool with them anyway. I hope you find someone soon with enough heart to take you! I tried to switch about this time before as a diabetic and nobody would take me. But someone has to, they just HAVE too.

Baptist in homestead. Although I see you haven’t had any luck with Baptist. How about Memorial even tho I think that’d be even further from you. I delivered at Miramar memorial, it was okay. Dr told me palmetto in Hialeah was a good hospital for delivery 🤷🏻♀️ also try New Life Obgyn, Dr. Mejia is so sweet but wasn’t a fan of their midwife, had a few disagreements with her throughout my pregnancy but maybe they can see you.

Blood clot in my lung and obesity. But it has two pregnancies but no problem
@badwolfmomma15, I tried that too they said no because I’m too far along I was there with my first and I love those doctors they are amazing
@badwolfmomma15, yes my second OB was there but she is not seeing me anymore and no one in that hospital
Try south Florida women’s care. I love all the obs there.
@leslyev92, yes I been in that area multiple times the traffic horrible especially in the weekend is always bumper to bump. The I deal in my situation is for the dr to book me for an induction at least two weeks prior my due date just make sure it’s the room the hospital and not in the Car
@mommyoftwoangels, no I can’t even imagine you having to make that drive, especially that traffic over here is always a bitch!!! I live 15 mins from Jackson
@mommyoftwoangels Georgia - and regardless seems unethical to just dismiss you without any assistance to find another provider or anything. What are your medical issues?
My ob for my 2nd pregnancy was amazing, he’s down in homestead tho. Idk if he’ll take you because of how far along you are but maybe it’s worth a shot. His name is Mario Gomez, I use to live in Kendall when I use to see him and the drive was 20-25 mins, maybe you can save the drive up to Jackson. It really sucks that your ob would do that at this point! I would be so upset, you shouldn’t be dealing w that @ 23 weeks!!!

@leslyev92, first I was in West Kendall baptist hospital then I went to a group that delivers in Main Baptist. Girl you know what it’s going to be like to drive to downtown while I am in labor. What if I dont make it!

@amberjacq I second this^ UT is amazing. It's unfortunate all hospitals can't be this way when it comes to women's health! My OBGYN is here in Sweetwater but I've had to go to UT a couple times.
I would be cussing some people out, move to Tennessee UT hospital would keep you for sure they have a high risk women’s care group and they’re amazing they took care of me in my first 2 months of pregnancy to make sure I didn’t miscarry a 3rd child
