So my one twin boys has been a bit sick since three days ago with a very runny nose. My girl twin kinda had it to but not as bad and she seems better now. I was thinking this was from the shots they got Friday because they said they could get a runny nose. But last night my boy twin started with this deep cough, and I don't know if it's from the post nasal drip and and the mucus or what. I just feel like I'm constantly taking them to doctors. So is it normal for them to get a cough along with all the mucus and stuff after three days of a runny nose and do you all think I should take him to doctors again? Yes I know you are all not doctors, neither am I, just asking opinions before I make the call.

Yes coughing is normal w mucus bc of post nasal drip becoming thicker. Mucus from the nasal and sinus cavities trickles down the back of our throats all the time but when sick, it becomes thicker and that will tickle the throat and cause coughing. You can try to elevate his head during sleep, use saline drops and nose Frida to help remove mucus. Humidifier to keep his passage ways moist so the mucus doesn’t sit around and lead to infection. If he has a fever and gets worse you can take him in

And push fluids 😊 hope he feels better soon

@ladyfreyja, yes! The only thing in zarbees is honey and sometimes elderberry and melatonin so that should be fine as long as baby is over 12mos

@ladyfreyja, I actually got the zarbees nighttime + immune for my 4 yo bc she’s been coughing and having a hard time sleeping too. I had to give her ibuprofen the first night w it to help break a fever too.

Transgender children So I just learned that in my kids school district (my kids aren't in school yet my oldest will be starting kindergarten next September) there are twin boys who identify as girls. They are 5 years old. What's your opinions on this matter given they are 5!!! I don't believe that at that age they really understand the whole thing. So the entire school had to take a course on how to handle transgender children. For example they can't say girls go this or boys do that. What are your thoughts on the matter? Do u think the parents are behind this? Idk because I haven't met the parents or children. I just think at 5 it's very young for children to really understand. What do u ladies think?
