Anyone know what this could be? 19 month old started pointing to her tongue and whining on Saturday and I looked and saw these bumps. I was going to take her to urgent care but decided to wait and see if they got any better. Yesterday they did look better and she didn’t complain at all. Then she woke up twice last night whining and pointing to her tongue again. I am still nursing her so I thought maybe thrush, but from what I know about thrush it’s more of a white coating, not bumps. Will be taking her to the doctor but wanted to see if anyone had any ideas because I won’t be able to take her until later tonight or tomorrow.

Gaaaaah! I can’t believe I didn’t know this! None of my kids have ever had HFM surprisingly!
If your at work and she’s at a sitters, best to leave to take her in. If it is hands foot mouth, I heard it’s kinda painful. And also being around other kids is getting them exposed
@danad269, really? I don’t know what to do now cause there’s nothing for a doctor to see. Tongue looks normal. 🤷♀️

Hand foot mouth crossed my mind too. She had a runny nose for about a week that ended maybe 5 days ago. No fever though. 🤷♀️

@damn.it.red, yeah I think I’ll just go to the urgent care tonight rather than wait for an appointment with the doctor. I’m at work all day today so I can’t take her until then. She is also drooling a ton and she has her very last tooth popping in right now. Didn’t know if it could be related, but she’s had all her other teeth come in without any issues so I don’t know.

My OB doesn’t want to take me anymore because I am too “high risk” so I got a new one they don’t want to see me either. They referred me to a group one hour way from my house. But there is only one high risk dr and he doesn’t know if he could see me.
I feel like I should not see any at this point.
