Hi mamas. I'm a 41 yr.old mom to an all boy 6 yr old and a snarky but sweet 10 yr old girl. We call Connecticut home and our family is spread out throughout the South. Lately motherhood has been showing her teeth And I'm finding more and more days where I need to apologize for crazy-mom who comes out . I struggle with consistency, Finding discipline that works, And while we're talking about discipline I should mention I suck at self discipline too. I like playing monopoly with my kids when I can peel them away from their electronics, we do have a 1 or 2 hour A-day limit that is consistently fought (and sometimes won)against... Like I said, I struggle with consistency.... Most of My parenting stress I probably bring on myself because of my in consistencies but sometimes it's just easier on my heart to let things go because I don't have the fight in me. When daddy's home it's a different story , It must be the low voice lol because I can timeout or punish just as well as he can however they have no "fear" of me.
