Nooooooo now someone else has adorable kittens up. Tbh it's kind of appealing how many people are just ditching their pets period not just trying to find a home for unexpected babies.

If you're cool with scooping the litter box, feeding, vetting, and doing the furniture battle for the next 14 years then I say go for it. Kittens grow fast.

I wouldn't get the cat. I love cats. But it wouldn't be fair to your family or the cat if it's not the right time.

GAH!!! I want a kitten so bad atmo!!!! I have to stop myself from getting one and I really really want one!!!! We have 2 dogs, 1 cat, 1 horse, 1 pony, 1 cow and 10 chickens (We have 24 1/2 acres). We have heaps for room for a kitten but OH keeps telling me no. And hes right atmo. Hes not able to work due to a football injury that could see him not working for 6mths. Thank god we have income protection!! But I want a kitten!!!!

Pets are ok in the house. We have a dog and have paid the pet deposit. But it still just isn't a great time lol

There are automatic cat food/water feeders, and automatic cat litter boxes that clean themselves, I have had tons of cats over my life, non peed anywhere but their litter box, or scratched anything but their scratching post, just make sure to get them a scratching post asap.

With the auto feeders and litter box we could leave for a week or so and my Siamese cat would be perfectly happy, we get home , I'd get tons of love from her, and everything would be great...

Cats are soooo easy to care for, they are extremely low maintenance and very self sufficient.

Idk I just can't get behind pets in general. You travel a lot and that would be my deciding factor. We do too and I can't imagine having to set up care and being restricted. I'm just not an animal lover anyway, I guess.

Are u even allowed to have a pet when renting? That's something to consider. Would your rent go up monthly with a pet? If u travel a lot it is easier with a cat but u would still need someone to come check on the cat change litter and feed if it's longer then like 2 days!! Also my cats started peeing all over my house and totally destroyed my carpets. So I personally won't ever have any other pets

We have 4 dogs, 3 cats, 2 rabbits, 2 baby chicks, a fish and a salamander ? Planning on getting a turtle soon!! And I still would've taken all 3 of those kittens lol

Kittens basically take care of themselves. They just need food and a clean litter box. I am no help!

Believe me I was/am very torn on it. We can afford vet care. We all live animals. DH has a mild allergy but says he'd deal with it, however, it's a lot of added baggage should we want to travel which we do often. And we live in a rental so I am a bit leery of too many pets and carpet that doesn't belong to me lol.

But it's a cute cuddly kitten. And your husband actually approves! What are you waiting for?

I would also choose not to adult, provided I knew we could afford the necessary vet care (3 sets of shots/deworming and a spay or neuter).

That's one of the times I would be totally irresponsible and decide not to adult lol.

Anyway they're adorable and my kids want one so bad. But it just isn't a good time despite wanting one myself. So I had to struggle and talk myself out of it. DH wasn't helping saying "just do it" ?. Lol sometimes I hate having to be an adult. How about you?
