Can’t really blame your daughter for repeating ridiculous language being displayed in the home....clearly on a regular basis..your sick of her learned behaviour..then deal with it at the source....all I see here is you complaining that your sick of your daughters cussing yet your not sick of the behaviour that’s causing it??

At that age, they are little sponges. She's going to repeat what she hears, so if you're upset about it (as you should be), then you need to get your boyfriend on board. She doesn't have an understanding of what it means. You teach your children and raise them the way you want them to raised.

Swearing is the biggest thing I tell my fiance to stop doing. I tell him little man is such a sponge right now we dont need him repeating. 😖

No need to be mad at her. She has no idea. She’s too young to understand bad language. It’s your boyfriend that needs to have his fun activities canceled.

Like, I’m bad about saying “damn it!”. I know it’s not the worst, but it’s definitely my cuss word I use most.

My daughter has repeated it and I can’t do much but say “don’t say that” and learn to watch my own mouth. It’s my fault, not hers.

I was reading this and thought at first you were talking about a teenager, not a 1 year old. I'm sorry but this is madness and not that babys fault, shes only following the leader.

@massmomma16 my boyfriend like to listen to that one song by big Sean " I don't Fu** with you" and yes he cusses some but not a ton. @beakymcspence yes I am sick of hearing f*** you and I've been telling my boyfriend to stop cussing, and he's working on it but not enough, and he and have argued about his cussing, I'm more upset cuz I don't know what to do to help the issues of the cussing and her throwing tantrums than I am about her acting up. Like if I could do something to help make her less cranky I'd be less upset.

@lamamoma @techie_grrl and exactly how I've been trying to deal with it is by explaining that but he still slips up now and then just wish there was more I could do you know

@1xmom I know girl. You cant control another adult but just try and correct your baby girl if she does display that behavior. I know it gets frustrating saying the same thing over and over to them but in their defense they are so little still. 😊

@jennatess I understand that I'm just saying that I do t feel up to going out trick or treating with her having a big fit.. I still plan on taking her, I just hope that she stops having such a fit you know

Your child is not going to stop saying cuss words until the grown ups in her life stop cussing and stop listening to profanity-filled music around her.
