Just spent 3 hours in the kitchen making 3 apple pies from scratch and Italian Meatballs. Have to cook the spaghetti, then dinner will be ready! (2 of the apple pies are for the in-laws, to clarify.... We don't eat straight sugar for dinner.... Most of the time.... hahaha)

@bitchcraft won't be on mom.life for a while because her phone crapped out. She won't get a replacement until January, so she wanted to let you guys know that's why!

First Homeschool lesson (plus craft!) done this morning. She learned about caterpillars, segmented bodies and filaments. We then made an egg carton caterpillar.

For those of you that don't do screen time (or have very limited screen time), what do you do with your toddlers? Looking for some new ideas.

Your family is what you make it. It's not about how you were raised or how your spouse was raised, it's about how you envision your own family. If you are on a trajectory that you don't like, then change it! Do things differently while your kids are still young. They'll grow into it.

Lupus is definitely getting the better of me today. Can't keep my eyes open because of the fatigue. Pain in ALL the joints. Headache won't go away. 😥 I guess my body is telling me, definitively, that I need to prioritize my health a little higher. And my mind is telling me "and where do you plan to fit that in?" 😢

My little guy straight refuses crawl, but he's all about standing up! So proud of himself, to boot. 💕

For the record... This was HARD. 😂

So, my daughter watched my husband take apart and fix my vacuum yesterday. I guess she was watching very closely, because today, she brought me a screw and said "I fixed it, mommy!" I had no clue where it came from, but she was holding dad's screwdriver and looking rather pleased with herself. I asked her to "show me!" Guys, my toddler took apart the bathroom door handle. 😂😂😂 I think we might have a future engineer on our hands. 💕

Made a wreath tonight! All Dollar Tree materials, total cost $7 and the flesh on my fingertips 😂
(I seem to have misplaced my glue gun, soooo I improvised and wired the branches, bell and flower arrangements to the wreath form. With Christmas ornament hooks. 🤦 Painful but effective 🤷).
