Would switch brands affect the baby? Example going from soy Similac to soy enfamil?

@modom16, bless her heart. My little isn’t even a week old yet and is already screaming acting like she’s having trouble pooping. When she does it’s the yellow, thick poop. She was taking soy Similac and the doctor gave us soy enfamil to take home with us. the nurse told us it was okay so when we ran out of Similac we used enfamil. I feel terrible now 😭

Yes it takes a while for the baby to g eat used to the switch. Sometimes it can make them worse before you see the difference.

@micgennyy, aww yeah it’s hard in the beginning because it could be the switch or it could just be the typical digestive issues that newborns have. Is there a reason she’s on soy? I believe it generally causes more constipation issues

My baby's 2 weeks old and is always complaining about gas he was on Enfamil at the hos then I already had simalac at the house gave him that thought that's what was making his stomach upset so I switched back to the Enfamil and I'm gunna stick with it now I feel bad that I switched it up
