Does your baby have a dairy allergy? Or are you just choosing to use soy

Soy can cause constipation. My girl had to be on it when. She was little. And constipation was a regular thing She can handle the blue similac now thankfully. So no more constipation.

Switching formulas 1 after the other will cause gi issues. Stick with one, don't switch can after can. You are gonna keep causing the baby stomach problems. it takes 4 to 6 weeks for babies digestion to work properly. Just give the baby time to adjust to one thing.

Changing to anything new can cause constipation. I was switching from breastfeeding to soy formula. Which with breastmilk your poop is always runny, formula has a bunch of different stuff so it makes the poop solid when it shouldn't be. It is all part of giving formula.

@sierraeggert69, I jus picked up pediatric-lax and only using a little bit to see if that helps

My daughter rarely pooped we tried Karo syrup and water, baby laxative, and nothing helped we tried so many different formulas. My sister in law and brother are currently having the same problem with their son. Similac alimentum does wonder I promise you! It’s already predigested but once you put him on it it’ll take a week or two to get all the other formula out and he’ll poop like new again. Skylar now poops on a regular basis and I’m feeding her big people foods, baby food, and her baby snacks and she does really well with it all.

@beemommyof3, my little guy seems to be a little constipated so I got it hoping it will help since it's not dairy

I used it for my older 2. They were constipated a little bit from it but i prefer it over dairy products
