did any mommies on here had to switch there babies from formula to soy due to excessive gas,colic and fussiness? !?!

Awe poor little guy . Yes terrible intense gas. He is 3 now and good to go . I swear within 48 hours of being on that he was like a new baby. My daughter is on BM but her ped said if I ever go to formula that will be the one to put her on as it is the gentlest etc. definitely ask tomorrow . Soy can be hard for some babies to digest as well and aside from constipation cause blood in stool etc . I think this may be his golden ticket.

@mom2thehs yeah the soy seemed to make him worse no lie he screamed even more after :( tomorrow I'm going to take him to his doc and ask about what u said :) was your baby having bad gas ?@mom2thehs

@dominicmommy29, Enfamil is the manufacturer of it can also order on Amazon for a little less usually .

@dominicmommy29, yes. My son was awful . Tried everything even the soy which can cause constipation in some and it did him. The nutramigen, within 48 hours he was a whole new baby. A lot of people think so is the way to go since it's not milk based but it can have its own set of side effects . Nutramigen is a hypoallergenic infant formula for cows milk allergy with fast management of colic and it delivers . It's a little more expensive then the rest but worth it for you and baby

@mom2thehs did that seem to help your baby?? mine seems like obsessive gas

Soy can cause constipation so watch for it. Nutramigen is a miracle work for reflux, gas, colicky babies etc.

Yeah he can't handle the milk I believe bc he gets do gassy and screams and my husband was the same way as a baby and so was I so we figure he's like us @embersandash

She's got acid reflux and is almost always getting constipated. My SO was that way as a baby. He wasn't lactose intolerant, just had trouble digesting it completely. He was put on soy and it helped him. Our baby is on reflux medicine now but we want to try soy to see if that will help all of her issues

I just did and he seemed happy and content went right to sleep after been up all day screaming and in pain . @embersandash why r u switching

yes , I did. Its been great, but its stinks a lot more .

Yes. It's more sensitive on the baby's stomach
