Has anyone dealt with fibroids during pregnancy? I just found out I have a 2cm fibroid in my uterus. Doctor says it shouldn’t grow or cause any issues but I have a terrible habit of googling 😩. And one thing says preterm labor could happen and that’s the last thing I need.
@brose0205 I know what you mean Girlie don't ever feel guilty for the way you feel its not ungreateful to admit pregnancy is an absolute freakshow you're doing good mama! Hang in there you're almost there You aren't irrational being concerned about the wellbeing of your child is not overdramatic I'm just saying because I got that a lot during my pregnancy
@jasmine.moore7509, I have a band from when I had my csection could that possibly work too?
@jasmine.moore7509, yep that’s what my doctor said to wear a band cause the extra weight too
@brose0205, that could be round ligament pain to try warm showers Tylenol and a belly band to help ease it.
@jasmine.moore7509, I’m 23 & 5 and I get pressure in my abdomen. But it eventually goes away I always thought it was just the baby. But maybe it’s that
@brose0205, no none I think at 24 weeks I went to the triage for some pain they said it was round ligament pain but they thought it could also be from the fibroids. But hot showers and Tylenol helped it.
@brose0205, yours are really small one of mines was 4cm the other was 5cm
@tavi.young, thank you! I’m already high risk and it seems like multiple things keep popping up lol
@jasmine.moore7509, that makes me feel a lot better. I’m already supposed to have a csection so hoping they don’t enlarge though cause I heard they can be painful. Only have one and it’s 2cm.
Me I have two, they didn’t hurt or anything and I just found out I had them when I got my first ultrasound. I’m now 36 weeks and got an ultrasound yesterday to make sure baby could get pass the fibroids during delivery. If baby can’t get past them they schedule c-section. Mines are still small
Nope she didn’t say. Hoping not to have any issues. I know I have to have a csection anyways could that still cause issues
I had 2 during my first pregnancy, but didn't have any issues with them. Did the dr. say where they were exactly? If they are near the opening of the uterus where baby comes out, that would be the only issue and if they grew too big to get in the way. I haven't had any in my 2nd or current pregnancy either.
@tavi.young, yes like pregnancy is a total blessing but it’s absolutely too much for me. But I made it passed my mark so I’m happy for that !
