Since I didn’t get a baby shower I’m thinking of doing a welcome home party for the baby. Anyone else do this?

@sedaparish, thank you. Yea I had to do my research because so many new car seats have come out and I wanted to make sure he had a safe one.

@juliam27, yes I know these car seats are so expensive 😩🙄but it’s better to purchase the safest car seat for your child. 👍🏾 & give yourself credit for that. 👏🏾It really matters mommy don’t ever feel bad. 🤗

@sedaparish, that’s what I plan on doing. Clothes and diapers are expensive and I wish we could have gotten more but his bed and car seat put us in a big bind.

@juliam27, my son came at 32 weeks and was in the nicu for about a month . I had his welcome home party around two months a little after his 6 weeks shots

@juliam27, just request clothes & diapers honestly that’s what people get anyways. And wipes 😁

@sedaparish, @vvrobinson, @mbelton5, @quanandmelosmommyyy, I really want to do one hopefully my mom can help me out with it. If people bring gifts I’d rather them bring diapers or clothes. We didn’t get to buy a lot of stuff for him like we planned. His bed and car seat really put us in a tight position.

Me...my son came early before my baby shower so my family gave him an welcome home party it was so nice and also sweet to see all my little cousins happy to see him home

My first was born june 25th 2016, my second came june 22nd 2018. I healed for 2 days and got home the day before Athenas 2nd birthday. My mom brought a welcome home cake for Cassiopeia when they came to celebrate athenas birthday. It was sweet. They got some gifts for her too.
