Help please!
Have any of y'all washed without rinsing?? Dd is on solids and formula now at almost 11 months old.. Dh was trying to be helpful and do diaper laundry, which I really appreciate! But I had 3 diapers folded in half in the pail that needed to be sprayed but I hadn't gotten around to it. And he didn't check them, he just washed them.

I use pockets. She tends to get a little redness when I cd all day, but it clears up if I put on a sposie. I need to get some coconut oil for a barrier and see if that helps. Someone on here suggested microfiber sensitivity

Thanks! :)
Are u putting the mf next to the skin?
And by "mf" do you mean microFIBER or microFLEECE? :)

Sorry!!!! I've been part time cloth diapering a couple months. No stink issues. I do think she has a mf sensitivity tho. I may get new inserts soon.

Lol. No he won't! Haha. We have a sprayer and a spray pal but the deal was if we cloth I'd deal with the poop.
I didn't have a problem with it before because it was solid and would just plop into the toilet when she was nursing and eating solids. But when we switched to formula it got runny/pasty. Like tar. It is SO hard to get off. I hate it.

Get a spray pal and then he'll be happy to spray diapers too!

With mine I don't have a sprayer so if it isn't plopable then I do a wash with no soap to get allyhe poo out, then wash with soap and an extra rinse.

On vacation last weekend the washer did not allow me yo do a rinse cycle. I did a full wash and extra rinse with soap twice and they were fine.

I don't really rinse ours, they're usually hard enough to plop out but if not I just scrape "most" off.
He's done better than my OH, the first time he had to deal with a poopy nappy he honestly left it outside (in the rain!) because he "didn't know what to do" - really?!

Maybe just give them a little extra soap and an extra wash. And don't look until all the cycles are gone ;)

Lol, thanks! :) I just didn't know if they would get clean or whatever.
I miss ebf days when I didn't have to rinse. I hate rinsing poop diapers

It will be fine. If you saw the awful things we wash at a veterinary clinic you'd die, and our machine and towels are squeaky clean. If it makes you feel better run a rinse cycle.

And in his defense I never leave poopy diapers in there. But my lack of sleep from working and college starting back has really taken a toll, so things are getting done slower around here
