Help please! I need a better fitting diaper...
My son was a bigger baby and papers was the only way to go. Huggies actually burned his skin and left a bad rash.
I swear by white cloud!
My little one is in 4+ nappies and they fit perfect she has big thighs too
Go up a size and try pampers! My son was/is a chunk and pampers saved us and most of his blow outs!
My son has chubby legs and huggies for best. Little movers are the only ones worth purchasing though. We accidentally bought the wrong kind this time and that will never happen again ...
Huggies had nasty goo from the elastic parts sticking in my son's creases so I had to stop using them. I really think diapers fit each babies differently and it's up to you to see what fits and works best. I loved pampers when my son was under a year old but then the size difference between them was way too much in the bigger sizes and harder for my son to transition.
Luvs have a horrible fit in my opinion. I like Pampers but think Huggies has the most elastic and good fit
You need to go up one size and try Huggies little movers ( purple box)
Love love love huggies little movers!!
Huggies little movers in the people box..not the red box.it had little steps that hold the straps in place allowing baby to move
I just fold the top down over the velcro part. It keeps the diaper from folding inward and the tags scratching my son's stomach and giving him a rash when he is running and crawling around. I put elastic band type shorts on my son to keep him from tugging at the diaper. Luvs is the only type of diaper that has given us no problems. I think each brand fits better with certain body types.
Target brand! And go up to 3.
I love huggies.
Never ever had a drama with them fitting my son and never ever had a leakage of pee or poop.
Pampers cruisers fit really well around the thighs
Huggies little movers!!!
Same here OP my baby girl has chunky little thighs and butt she leaks through luvs and she needs 5T in pull ups or any other training pants. We now use huggies little movers or little movers training pants and we love both.
Huggies or Costco brand
Dd2 has been in a size 4 since about 15-16lbs. We use pampers swaddlers and luvs. She is very petite and they fit her pretty good.
I use size 4 pampers for dd. She has chunky legs and so far they fit great. They're tall on her but that's good because she hasn't had any blow outs.
Huggies little movers. I buy from Costco, way better than anywhere else! Huge box about $35.
Huggies little movers!
My baby is almost 15lb and she is in size 3.
Can't go wrong with the pampers brand! Pampers cruisers are the best for active little ones in my opinion.
Honestly, my 23 month old was large since born- 10 pounds and very fat inner thighs, and love handles lmao Hes still like that..I tried every single brand diaper..only thing that fits his fat legs and handles without cutting him are pampers swaddlers and cruisers. I know it sucks bc there not the cheapest, and i hated to have to spend it, but I didnt have a choice. He was getting deep cuts from diapers not fitting him right. Hope this helps! Good luck
Go up a size?
Huggies all the way
I prefer luvs by kids were always super thin. Try up a size. If that doesn't do it, huggies tend to fit rolly poly babies a bit better.
Move up a size in diapers. I know diapers have a range of weight that they fit but I never use that size until the max weight. I usually go if my child is on the minimum weight for a size then that's the size we are on. I'm not sure how much my 6 month old weights but next thing of diapers is going to be a size four. We also like parents choice.
Huggies little movers
Pampers are the best
Pampers
i used huggies. ds is 16# and has the chubbiest thighs and belly! hes in size 3, about to move up to size 4
i changed to huggies movers and have also used pampers cruisers.
it has more stretch in the leg and longer straps so im not smushing his tummy...
i never liked LUVs either so that may be your problem too lol
Tight?
Huggins Little Movers or Pampers (can't remember which kind I used on my LO)
I would say to move up to a size 3.
We use HEB brand diapers and love them. My babies all have fat legs.
Huggies are the best. Try a small pack if you don't want to risk buying a box and see if you like them
Luvs always leaked with all my kids. I use bj's or Walmart brand. Still cheap but better than luvs
Meijer brand is wider, we love them.
We're buying more diapers tonight, which is why I'm asking for suggestions. He's definitely too big for these. I also tend to fasten them more loosely because of the thigh issue. ? I hope I can find something that works better for him.
Huggies
That looks way way too small to me, when the tabs don't meet in the middle anymore by about 4cm we go up a size. Those tabs are like clinging on for dear life.
I like Babyganics the best. My lo is about the same size and we just started size 3.
I might pick up a pack of those! It seems like the diapers are slightly loose under his thigh but tight up top. Maybe that'll help.
Huggies snug and dry has more leg room than luvs
I think pampers baby dry does too
Pampers have a funny smell when they're wet though
I used luvs a lot with ds and noticed they always fit small on him even though they were the right size. I switched to Huggies little movers and they were awesome! The bands stretched more and the leg areas were curved so they actually fit his legs the way they should.
Glitch xx... He was wiggling a lot in this photo, so I'm sorry it's not the best.

Luvs fit skinny minnie dd perfectly but ds who is also 15# currently they do not work for at all. So far pampers swaddlers and any huggies work best for him. Good luck, it stinks trying to find a good diaper
Eta:
Size 2 are a little snug, so I got size 3 yesterday and they fit pretty good. Now to use up the handful of 2's before they are way too small
