breast lump...
Ive had this tiny hard pebble like thing in my breast since the beginning of my pregnancy. It seems bigger now. Im scared of breast cancer. My mother had it, and her mother had it. I dont know what to do. I mean my son wont take the bottle. My doctor cant check me while breastfeeding bc the scan gives radiation. Im stuck. What if it is? Im honestly terrified. My family dr told me to come back after im done breastfeeding. That sounds like horrible advice. These things should be checked out and taken care of immediately right? I'm scared.
I would go to an OBGYN, not a family doc about this. I'm not sure why you were told you can have a mamo while breastfeeding because of radiation, that doesn't make a lot of sense. And with an ultrasound he radiologist will be able to tell the difference between what is milk (fluid) vs a mass (solid tissue.) sorry you're going through this, how stressful! Do whatever is going to put your mind at ease!
I agreed definitely get a second opinion. Regarding baby not taking a bottle - there's not much point now that these babies are 8 months. Mine has never taken a bottle - I've had more success practicing with a sippy cup (no valve) with water every day. I think she'd take a milk feed from it if needed.
I had the same thing before I had my daughter. My doctor said that based on the consistency and how it felt when he tried to move it around it felt like a cyst. I then had a mammogram and they said the same thing (probably cyst) and that it was up to me to decide if I want them to take it out. They said it didn't look like a tumor but they won't know for 100% certain until they do a biopsy (after removal).
I had it removed and it was indeed just a cyst. It was a hard lump that grew bigger, not painful or anything.
Yeah there should be something they can do. Get a second opinion ASAP. I'm exclusively breastfeeding but my doc said to let him know if I ever feel a lump that is concerning and doesn't go away. It makes me think he would totally look into it. Find a new doc who will do something because if it is cancer. You want to catch it now.
I just feel like there has to be something they can do. Maybe just take a biopsy of the lump and see if its cancerous or just a cyst. That way i dont have to stress and quit breastfeeding for no reason
I want a second opinion for sure. Yes i did mention an ultrasound but she said something about it not going to be accurate bc of the milk.

How do i get him to take the bottle? He wont. Ive tried. But now i feel like its urgent.
Yesterday I went out with my boyfriend went to watch a movie, me and him don't live together yet. but point is yesterday when he was dropping me off his like sleep over at my house witch the mom and dad lives. I said no,
his response was why is everyone deciding or making choices for you and their going to do the same with the baby, when I know that's not true. what he thinks is that my mom tells me not to sleep over. So he left all mad. and I felt in my heart that he went on and cheated on me...
Transgender children
So I just learned that in my kids school district (my kids aren't in school yet my oldest will be starting kindergarten next September) there are twin boys who identify as girls. They are 5 years old. What's your opinions on this matter given they are 5!!! I don't believe that at that age they really understand the whole thing. So the entire school had to take a course on how to handle transgender children. For example they can't say girls go this or boys do that. What are...

Went in for my 20 week check up and found out our son had passed away. Nothing was wrong, my pregnancy has been going great. I'm so numb right now. I'll he delivering him later this week. I don't want to do this. I don't want to do this. Not before Christmas. How am I'm going to tell my kids?? My dear sweet baby boy. Why did this happen?
IUI Monday!!
So today I went in for my routine bloodwork and ultrasound, and found out that I have three follicles at 17mm! Plus another two at 15mm. When leaving the clinic my FS said to take another dose of gonal-f and come back tomorrow to check to see how big they got and that we would do the iui on Wednesday. Well, after getting home, taking my gonal-f and going out to shovel snow (lol) I get a call saying that I am SURGING!!! I haven't ovulated on my own, or even come close to it in years...
Its just a cyst! It'll be removed on the 9th of jan. ☺
