Breast pump help!

I'm online now updating my registry and realized I forgot to put a breast pump. Which brand is best? And is manual or electric better?

I've been looking on amazon too for pumps and there's a Lansinoh affinity double electric pump and it has pretty good reviews. Someone also said in the reviews that they called them and it's the exact same pump as the ameda purely yours just a different color to be sold under Lansinoh's name. On amazon they run about 120. Hope that helps...we have until middle of March before lo is here to get one too.

I got the medala pump in style advanced on the go tote. Regularly $299 at babies r us but I had some duplicate items from my shower to return, a 20% any item coupon, and some register rewards and got it for $90! Also, your hospital pharmacy may sell them for 20% off, that was what I was going to do....

I just did my research and added the Madela Freestyle to my registry today. They have 5 different types of pumps for the Madela.

i dont wanna spend 300 on something that iv never done before..heard so many stories about not being able to pump. I'll try a cheap electric one 1st and if i can go all the way with the breast feeding thing that I will def have no problem spending the big bucks onn the better one.

The hospital rents them for around 70 a month. That's a little pricey for me. I saw some less expensive ones in target but I don't want to get one and it not work as good and then I can't return it. Everyone is telling me medela but I don't have that kind of money and I wouldn't feel right asking for something that expensive. Grrr why does everything have to be so difficult

I picked that one on my registry but found a 50.00 one at Target sorry forgot the name of it but before i buy anything im going to check with the hospital to see how much they rent them for. Good Luck!
