When's a good time to apply for my breast pump??

if you have Medicaid are you able to get a breastpump? cuz I tried to get one and they said I didnt get approved

I have Medicaid and wic so I guess if I don't get approved through them then I'll try wic but how did you apply?

my doc told me 4 weeks before my due date is the soonest they will give them idk why like what does it matter

you can order it off of a website and they'll contact your insurance for you to tell you which one is covered through them and then they'll contact your doctor for a prescription :)

insurances are required to give you a breast pump now

I tried through a website with Medicaid. I guess ill try wic but they may not if I exclusively breastfeed? I dont know their policy

Well here they're (wic) trying to get me to breastfeed for the benefits @steffiepaige so they told me the first time I met with them I'd be able to get a free pump

ohh really ill have to ask them next time. I think mine is stingy or something cuz they havent said nothin to me

@steffiepaige, wic should give you one if your insurance gives you problem but I have Medicaid through Molina and mine was covered. they're required to give you one. which website did you try? @bashsmommy1115 www.nationalrehab.com/breastpump click the chat now to request a breast pump link and they'll help you!

@bashsmommy1115 I called my insurance company and they said I could go buy one and they would pay me back or they directed me to a website and had a few different brands to choose from

some hospitals will discharge you with a pump if you don't already have one, the hospital I'm delivering at does that

Just got mine in mail today. Free with my insurance I got the medela in style advanced double pump!

I already got mine like 2 weeks ago and I'm due November 20th. Just check with your provider

@ngujen, i cant remember honestly but I have amerigroup cuz my hospital only takes that Medicaid. hopefully wic will give me one
