Baby spine on spine help
I have been having really bad back pain to the point in in tears just had check up and bub is fully engaged and spine on spine with me the hospital said to get on all 4's and rock side to side for 15mins 3 times a day to try get him to move just wondering if any other mummy's had this and if it worked for them to get bub to move they think I will be having him with in the next 2 weeks this is my first n I'm scared I don't want back labour he said its worse than normal :( hope someone has good news for me plz
My second dd was posterior throughout my whole pregnancy. My midwife said I could do the exercises however bub was likely to turn back posterior as she was obviously comfortable there. I found standing in the shower leaning over a chair rocking side to side felt better and she turned right at the end. I had no stitches or grazes :) I asked for an epidural (I had always planned to have one) but there was no time.
Thanks heaps girls :) I'm going to try what I can to get him to move n I will remember don't lay down during labour n lots hot shower :) xx
Hey fee my bubs was posterior I had a natural birth like that! Your lucky as my doctors didnt recommend anything to make him move but if your bubs is still in the postion when you give birth try not to lay down as I found it was the worst for the contractions and labor in general, all the pressure is on your back and yes its not nice im a ftm too and i cant tell you if its worse then normal labor! i found the best for me was on all 4s in the shower with the shower running on my lower back or bend over the bed rocking your hips side to side as the pain is pretty intense on your back as well and your contractions on top of it im not gonna lie it bloody hurt lol but the best advise i got given by my midwife was when you in the moment of contraction is to think of it as your walking up a hill as its happening then count down as they go away like you walking down it! I hope your bubs moves for you babe : )xx
Yep my bub was posterior from about 35 weeks, spent most of my final weeks on all fours crawling around the house!
Had a very long painful labour, which I spent most of the time on all fours or hanging over the back of the bed as sitting or lying down was too painful.
I suggest of you are wanting to avoid drugs, go the water injections if he stays posterior through labour, they really helped me - except by then I had been on my feet for about 12 hours and labouring for almost 34 so I had the first chance to lie down and I did - bub flipped back posterior as I started to push, disengaged and I was taken for an emergency c-section!!
All I can say, to do your best to avoid back labour and an ending like mine, no matter how tired you get, stay on all fours or standing and leaning over, this will be your best chance to birth vaginally!
Both my girls were posterior so I can't compare the pain to non-posterior. Back labour was horrible but you wont know any different being a ftm :) if nun doesn't turn before labour, all fours, heat packs & back rubs worked (ish) for me. Try not to lay or lean back while sitting ad it will hurt more (I did that a lot) :( hope the pain eases up soon
Thanks girls I really hope he moves for me :( how much worse is the pain if he stays like this ?
Oh not good dolly :( he's only just turned to my back the last few days I'm hoping he's going to turn again he was always on my right side before
Yesterday I went out with my boyfriend went to watch a movie, me and him don't live together yet. but point is yesterday when he was dropping me off his like sleep over at my house witch the mom and dad lives. I said no,
his response was why is everyone deciding or making choices for you and their going to do the same with the baby, when I know that's not true. what he thinks is that my mom tells me not to sleep over. So he left all mad. and I felt in my heart that he went on and cheated on me...
Short Luteal Phase?
I've just started temping because I believe that the reason I haven't had a BFP yet, after 20 months, is because I believe I may have a Luteal Phase Defect.
Transgender children
So I just learned that in my kids school district (my kids aren't in school yet my oldest will be starting kindergarten next September) there are twin boys who identify as girls. They are 5 years old. What's your opinions on this matter given they are 5!!! I don't believe that at that age they really understand the whole thing. So the entire school had to take a course on how to handle transgender children. For example they can't say girls go this or boys do that. What are...
Science!
My friend posted this on facebook last night and said her kids were asleep within minutes. It's a song that scientists created to help people fall asleep. I was skeptical but I thought what the hay, I'll try it out. I didn't bank on Dh falling asleep, but both him and lo were asleep by minute 2. And lo slept six straight hours. ?
the amount of women who are clueless about their own anatomy is so sad and shocking. a lot of the women are older than me and have more children then I do 😳
now I understand that everyone has their own opinion on the topic and grown adults can do whatever they want with their bodies but to deny facts and make up false statements about your own anatomy when it comes to your unborn child is just so disappointing.
