Really thinking about getting the arm implant birth control dont know what it called. Any ladies that have had it or have it what is yalls feed back i know everybody's bodys are different just eant to get an overall feed back. Only thing that really worries me is that it can move.
Yeah I just wanted to see you exactly how many people have moved on since I've seen like on the news lately that it has moved more than they want to say that's just my only concern because I have had an IUD move on me in it hurts so bad just don't want that repeat.
I’ve had mine for over a year now, I haven’t had any issues with it at all, I get my period for about 7 days but it’s not heavy at all, and then I don’t get it for a while after that, I haven’t had any mood changes or anything like that I love it cause I have a hard time remembering to take any kind of medication but every once in a while I check to make sure it’s still in the same place
See that's why I want to get it because I don't have to remember to take it I'm really bad about remembering things and even if I have a timer or put on my phone I will push okay like I'm going to take it and then I start doing something else.
I have had the anger with it. I don't mind it all though because I used to be shy so now I am speaking my mind more than I should maybe but oh well. My periods are very random. I haven't had 1 in 2 months now. And I got the implant in January. I have had maybe 3-4 periods total since I have had it. I do get headaches but always have so that is nothing new. I actually like it better than anything else.
I already have anger issues so I'm good with that I already have random periods since I breastfeed and also have PCOS good with that. Lol my fear is more of it moving since I had the Mirena IUD and it moved on me and i was in so much pain.
@lillynellasmom I worked at Jeep and was so afraid of that but I have smacked it on the cars, my kids grab my arm, and my hubby but mine hasn't moved. I like to feel it and check I am weird I think its awesome. I told my kids its a Santa cam to watch them for 3 years haha only 1 believed it though.
@mommy060817 see I'm willing to try it with all the side effects it's just that one thing that bothers me about it moving. I'm most likely going to try it cuz it's about the only other thing that I know I can take and that I don't have to remember. That are just never have sex again with my husband lmao
I think these posts are pointless. You won’t know how it affects you until try it. I know 3 people who have had it and they all loved it. You can’t get scared because others had bad experiences.
Right I love the arm implant. Some side effects but still the best for me.
Like I said I know everybody's bodies are different and everybody has different experiences I just want to know overall who has had it and what their experience were like. I just kind of wanted to see who has got it and it's move says that's my fear it moving I've already had an IUD move on me to where I was in so much pain and that's why I'm hesitant on getting it. Really wanted to see how many people had has moved on before I make my decision.
Nooo I didn't do it but my sister did it made her very crazy also was hard to get it out it got deeper in her arm when they finally took it out her period was just all out of wack
Well only good thing is my periods are already put of wack because of brestfeeding and pcos. So i am okay with that. But the deeper or moving is what i dont like and i have already had an IUD move on me before and it hurt so much i could not sit stand or do anything with out being in so much pain.
@sleepymommy see that sounds awesome but I know I would probably leave it out for more than 2 hours because I would forget cuz I'm kind of like a guy and I fall asleep after sex that or after the 3 weeks I would forget to take it out or put one back in and I'm just being honest because I'm so scattered brain or I would forget and start trying to do something else with the two kids I have now three so I need something that I don't have to remember.
@lillynellasmom I am too thats how my daughter got here aha but to me nuvaring is thr best option the iud and implant can get stuck the iud can cause you to be sterile or move other places the implant can get stuck so you will have a hole where it was or it can break the pill is hard to remember thr same time everyday. Nuvaring put it in set an alarm 3 weeks later take it out set another alarm then replace it.
@sleepymommy. Lol see I'm normally good for about a year since I have PCOS and I also breastfeed so I don't get periods normally until I guess about a year so that's why I'm kind of iffy about the only things I know it does move or can move I've had an IUD move on me and it hurts so bad and with the pillow made me really nauseous that I couldn't stand it that and also not being able to remember it the only thing that work for me was a Depo shot and I can't take it while breastfeeding so that's out of the way also I wanted to try having the baby it would take over a year to get out of my system then who knows how long to try to get pregnant. I was kind of talking to my husband about figuring out a plan once a year comes using condoms or something lol
Nooooo my friend had a horrible time getting it removed it somehow got like stuck in there and they had to make an even bigger hole to get it out
@dpinkpixie10 I can't get on the Depo shot because I am breastfeeding or that i would cuz that was about the only thing that worked for me but also will hurt my chances of getting pregnant again and taking longer after stopping it.
@lillynellasmom I was told you still can with the shot. I did until she was 5 months the only reason they dont really want u to is because BC in general will dry you up or lessen your milk. That's what they told me anyway
@dpinkpixie10 yeah that they said it's too much hormone so it will affect my milk supply that's why my OBGYN won't give it to me unless I'm okay with her not breastfeeding.
I don’t recommend getting it. For me, it’s the worst birth control I’ve ever been on.
@lillynellasmom, I was a major bitch I got it at my 7 week check up it made me want to kill myself, and made my depression so bad. It made me have anxiety so bad I would wake up shaking because of anxiety attacks. I was bleeding all the time, had the worst headache ever!! I tried everything and nothing worked. I also gained lots of weight too.
I was the same way as @rae101 except my free week was spotting. The longest period I had was 3 months and my biggest issue was hair loss. It caused my hair to fall out in chunks everyday outside of postpartum hair loss. Once I got it taken out my hair was normal again.
@lillynellasmom yes I was. It had no effect on my supply though.
@rae101 it really is! My worst experience with birth control! I took the pill for 5 years and I loved it and I tried the patch too and loved it as well!
I had it but for me I would bleed for two months, be free a week then bleed for two months again.
Yesterday I went out with my boyfriend went to watch a movie, me and him don't live together yet. but point is yesterday when he was dropping me off his like sleep over at my house witch the mom and dad lives. I said no,
his response was why is everyone deciding or making choices for you and their going to do the same with the baby, when I know that's not true. what he thinks is that my mom tells me not to sleep over. So he left all mad. and I felt in my heart that he went on and cheated on me...

Transgender children
So I just learned that in my kids school district (my kids aren't in school yet my oldest will be starting kindergarten next September) there are twin boys who identify as girls. They are 5 years old. What's your opinions on this matter given they are 5!!! I don't believe that at that age they really understand the whole thing. So the entire school had to take a course on how to handle transgender children. For example they can't say girls go this or boys do that. What are...

I do not recommend the nexplanon for various reasons. I would have a month long period bi monthly, mood swings from hell, low sex drive, awful migraines almost everyday.
