What terrible people... That is a horrible thing to say to some one who is carryin a little baby- this honestly breaks my heart 😞how people can treat someone so badly- doesn't matter wot ther silly little reasons are EVERY child is a blessing & may god forgive them for behaveing in such a nasty way... Has it not dawned on them that this may be hard for u to?? I wish u all the best huni lean on ur mums support make sure ur only around people who love & support u, hold ur head up high... Nasty words will never Kill u but they do leave scars.. Don't let them scar u again... Am sorry u hav to put up with people who are quick to judge instead of what they should be doing which is help...... U don't deserve that treatment no-one does, I wish u all the best sweetheart 😌

Well I have the most VILE mil and sil. The mil phoned me at work when she found out swearing down the phone at me calling me a selfish b**ch because her son is going to afghan. And the sil text me saying I can't cope with the kids i've got. And I'm like my disguisting mother. My mom is THE MOST amazing woman you could ever meet. If it wasn't for my mom I'd hav gone mad by now. Just don't think we can have it all. At least it sound like most of us hav got support from ONE side at least. Xxx nice to hear some of you get on with the in laws x

Thank you xx you're right, fingers crossed they do soften. I've opened and closed the door to them over the years and am beyond crying about it...I'll leave it a jar for the moment. I just occasionally feel a bit down about it and wonder why I get stuck with weird, cold parents. They are so old school Dickensian it's ridiculous! I am however incredibly lucky to have such a wonderful husband and in-laws and soon a gorgeous little boy of my own so have a lot to be happy and thankful for 😕 Enjoy your wonderful in-laws they sound super like mine 😇 xx

Aww... That's sad the way ur parents are being, try not to let it get u too upset, ud be surprised how much people change when a little baby comes along he may just help to bring out the best in them! Ur doing all u can, unfortunately we can't make people be the way we want them to & it hurts esp when it comes to mums & dads & close family, surround ur self with people who are being loveing & supportive... At least u know u will never be like that wiv ur own children, keep ur door open to them that's all u can do & I hope for there sakes they change there ways because at the end of the day there the ones missing out... Sending a big hug ❤

Hi Kirsty, I'm with you there. My mil has been amazing. We are indeed very blessed to have them and their support.

It's my own mother that has been a bit*h! My parents live 30 mins away but haven't come to see me at all. I am almost 32 weeks! I saw then in march to tell them our news on my birthday when I was 6 weeks. (I had to arrange dinner) they were fairly frosty and said it was too early to be excited. I then saw then when I was 22 weeks as I thought one of us needed to make an effort...again we had to drive to theirs. They haven't bought us anything for the baby and keep telling to buy everything 2nd hand as the baby doesn't need new things.

When I mentioned them looking after the baby once he's here (I thought that's what grandparents like to do) my mum said only if we take him to their house! It makes me feel sick. My mil and fil have been amazing, taken me to appointments, helped us buy things for the baby, invite us round for dinner every Sunday. I have severe spd so am fairly immobile - they have been such a help and are just amazing in general. Some people ( my delightful mother) are just weird I guess?! Humph 😣

I can't take it anymore! Haley (yes my 1mth old and no I wasn't able to go through this "joy" of nursing my older daughter, Molly) has been screaming non stop for 6hrs! All she wants to do is eat and I can't have her attached to me all day, everyday! She has wanted to eat every hr on the hr for the past 3hrs! I put her in her room so I don't scream at her but I just can't take it!

lillyb Good job giving ur self a break we all need them. See if maybe she will nurse
delete____ I have to commend you for stepping away, momma!! Everyone reacts to a child screaming differently and
imisssleep123456789 Ugh I remember those days. With both kids I decided to always top them off with formula.
