Ended up getting a BPP ultrasound yesterday due to feeling decreased fetal movement. After a lot of moving, shaking, waking up, baby boy passed the BPP. His face was mushed into my uterus the whole time and I found out I have an anterior placenta which is why I don't feel strong movements and sometimes none at all. Anyone else have an anterior placenta? Has it effected previous vaginal delivery? Thanks! This is the only good picture we could get. ?? Growth scan next week.

I was surprised that I wasn't told this earlier. Maybe I was told and just didn't absorb it or didn't know what it meant and didn't have concern from my doctor so who knows. I'm going to talk to her about it next week more. It is crazy how little movement I feel in comparison to other people who aren't even this far along. I have had no strong kicks, punches, etc. Nothing painful no rib jabs like I've heard about. I guess I should consider myself lucky. Thanks for the responses!

I had a posterior placenta with my first pregnancy, with this one it's anterior. The differences in the amount of movement I've felt is crazy. Before I felt every movement my son made. Now with this one, I barely ever feel him. It's definitely scared me into calling my doctor a few times.

I have one this time around- they should have told you at 12 weeks and if not at 20 weeks - you definitely don't feel ask much movement. I asked my midwife she said it shouldn't have any impact. So cute glad all went well ?
