Does anyone else have an anterior placenta? If so, how much movement are you feeling? I'm 26w4d and wish I was feeling…

@brooklynsmom, yea my feelings are similar. Few times a day I feel some pretty good kicks and rolls. Some days a lot less and some days a lot more.

@momagainjj82, oh awesome!! I am so ready how about you? Yes the last week or so I feel like the movements have gotten stronger. She will give me maybe 3-8 kicks a few times a day. How many times are you feeling her?

Haha @misskaecolletto that is too cute! We have another ultrasound on the 16th, I can't wait. We will see if she behaves. I'm with you on being cautious. We have came really far so I try to keep remembering that 😜

@brooklynsmom, I feel that. we've had 4 losses before this baby. so we take extra extra precautions if anything seems weird. it makes me very nervous sometimes. mine has never been lazy during ultrasounds. however. he's stubborn and likes to keep his hands up by his face so we can never get a good shot of what his face looks like. I'll be like "just one time. so I can see what you look like, please! " last ultrasound he had an infatuation with showing us his butt. 😂

@sweetpea_nut, that's great!! I didn't feel anything until 21 weeks with mine so it's awesome you felt so early. I get so excited when my tummy moves because it rarely happens!

Haha!! That's too funny @misskaecolletto . I do have a Doppler and it is a life saver! We had 2 early losses before this pregnancy so I am anxious about everyyyything. I try not to be but its so hard. You're right though they are supposed to sleep a lot especially now that they are getting bigger in there. Ours has been pretty lazy during a few ultrasounds- then there were a few where she was NUTS!

I was told I have an anterior placenta but I've been feeling her move since 17 weeks few days out of the week, this week she's been stronger everyday to the point where I've seen my stomach move at certain spots...

@brooklynsmom most definitely. if you can try buying a Doppler. I'll use mine if I don't feel as much movement as I like. this is my first so I tend to freak out easily over some stuff. right when I thought I'd never feel some. movement. he proved me. wrong and started kicking. now he just does multiple spastic kicks and pushes himself up against the belly and it reassures me! I'm learning sometimes they just like to chill, sleep. or in my son's case he likes to plot!

Oh wow @misskaecolletto :( Yes anterior placentas DO blow. My OB said we are going to start kick counts at 28 weeks and I'm even wondering if I'll be able to feel enough. Today I felt her quite a bit (but not near as much as others) but yesterday she was sooo quiet and it makes me so nervous. Glad to hear it sounds like we feel about the same, makes me feel like I am not alone!

I do. I didn't feel movement until 24 weeks. at that it was not constant. now at 27 weeks I'm starting to feel more kicks and every now and then I can feel him moving around. but not as much as other women say they feel. but as long as I feel some kicks at some point in the day on content. having an anterior placenta blows :( unfortunately mine is an anterior marginal placenta previa so not only is it hard to feel movement some times but mine is sitting on the edge of my cervix.
