Help! Plugged Milk Duct!!!

I tried everything that all pp mentioned only thing that worked for me was taking Lecithin. I found it at Gnc one dose did the job & I instantly felt relieve. That was one of the worst pains. Hope this helps.

Use heat (a diaper with hot water is a good compress) to loosen the clot. Then have hubby or whomever massage downwards pretty forcefully on the clot while you pump. That always helps me.

Ok weird thing to try. I had one with my oldest son. I couldn't get it loose. I called my grandma bless her soul said to if I'm able to try an suck it out myself. I know it was weird an odd but she said she had the same thing happen an her mom said to try it. So I tried it in my hour of need an it helped I felt it release an instant relief! I just spat out what was in my mouth. I have large breasts so it was easier but try it. Like I said it's odd but it worked lol

Still in pain. I've tried everything. I'm going to try some massage oil and heat next. I'm really starting to get worried.

Thank you. I'll try that now. It's starting to get warm to the touch. I can't afford for this to turn into mastitis. Hopefully it works.

When u feed ur son get on all fours and lay him under u and let ur clogged boob dangle while u feed...it opens ducts

Let them dangle while you express. It worked for me.

I've done all these things and it's still clogged. I'm at a loss. I'm exhausted and in pain ?

If you have no success with hand expressing you could also try a dream feed for bub. You won't have to wake bub up, just pop on the boob.

Get in a hot shower and massage the area/your entire breast in firm circular motions and then hand express while you're in there.

Applying a hot compress to the area when you get out until baby wakes up will help too.

massage is the best thing to deal with that, maybe some warm cloths, and try to get some milk out with your hands until baby wakes up

When is bub due for a next feed? If its a few hours I would try to relieve it sooner rather than later.

Use a heat pad or hot face cloth and massage the area. I can usually hand express and get the blockage fixed so you won't need a pump if you don't have one.
