Yes it can. The sperm causes contractions in late term pregnancy.

For some women it's instant labor and delivery and for others it isn't when their water breaks. Sperm softens your cervix and when that happens you lose your mucus plug. It could either be your mucus plug or just a whole lot of discharge.

Water breaking, it broke mine; I felt / heard a pop and when I got up I just had a stream trickling of fluid running down my legs but it was a constant little stream of it

@tina1992.e I had sex the night before I was supposed to get induced and after having sex of course I went to the restroom but I'm guessing laying there and letting the semen make it softer in there helped to break it because I woke up at 3 in the morning after having sex at 11 or 12 and once I sat up I heard and I felt a pop

I always let it sit in there and then I get a shower because I don’t like that feeling of being wet so ur saying I need to jus let it sit in me and my water will break
