is there a difference between getting induced & your water breaking?
some people tell me they rather their water break over getting induced ... what's your opinion?

You don't have to be induced if your water breaks, you can wait for your body to do it naturally, but if you are going the unnatural way then I guess you could go ahead with that process.

yeah I figured it out and its OK usually first time moms don't know.... this happened to me pregnant with my first born and they had to induce me because my water broke but it didn't kick start my labor naturally and that's not safe for baby

They can break your water but that doesn't mean it will kick start labor which is what being induced is.

From what I understand from my being pregnant with my son, my water broke on its own at 3AM. Then they gave me Pitocin to induce me at 130.

so if your water breaks.... and no labor.... they will have to induce you because baby needs to be delivered with in 24 hours

Inducing usually includes pitocin to start contractions, cervidil to help dilate your cervix and then once that gets going they will break your water ....
How does it feel when your water breaks ?
Has anyone ever had to be induced an had to get there water broken by their doctor, if so can you tell me how does it feel, do it hurt, can you feel it, do they give you an epidural before they do it an also do they give you an epidural before your pitocin or can you ask for it before then?? Really need answers bc I'm so lost this my first time ever getting induced after 2 kids an first time hearing if they might have to break my water I'm not ready for that if it leads to pain. But they not sure if they will break it hoping it breaks on its on.

So if you get induced does that mean that you can't have your baby via vaginal or what? Does it mean that they just break your water?
Water... When did anyone's water break? Usually before or right away with labor? I'm so scared my water will break at work or something.

Women's bodies know what to do, and unless you are high risk you should listen to your body! 👍
