How did you guys know you were about to go in labor? Besides your water breaking or contractions? Was your body off?

I would like too know the same thing

Following, as I was induced with my first.

contractions my body was tensing up all day, my water never broke but by the time I got to the hospital I was 5cm

I’m not sure if I’m mistaking these contractions as BH, or if they really are @mommywynn2017, some are painful some not.

@tfuller94, you just have to be mindful of if they are close together and consistent also check your temperature, I started to get a fever. I would google how close together they are supposed to be and for how long, I don’t quite remember... good luck if you are in labor babe!!

@mommywynn2017 how far along were you? And how painful did the contractions get before going to the hospital?

@bwjones6, omg I was 41 weeks lol they were bad I thought I wasn’t going to make it down the stairs, I was bent over on my couch like a dog swaying my butt somehow it helped lol

@bwjones6, yes I lost it during the week before, not much though probably like a grape size amount of mucus but it had pink running through it that’s how I knew

never be scared to contact your doctor to ask questions if you feel like something is happening, they all have an answering service during closed hours

I was having stomach cramps and back pain. It wasn't unbearable so I just called the hospital and they told me to come get checked and after I got there they kept me lol

(and sorry I just noticed you did say “besides” contractions lol... otherwise really nothing gave me the hint honestly)

I was like 4 days away from my due date & I was trying to provoke my contractions cause I didn't want to get induced & because I just wanted her out already lol so I had sex (TMI) & my obgyn said that sperm softens the cervix & enough it did cause in the morning at 7 am my water broke lol 💀 but after we did it, I had a feeling that was it cause I started feeling contractions & you'll just know . (:

For me I couldn’t stop peeing 😂 like I had to be every 4 min and I’m not even joking and i felt a lot of pressure the day I went into later I did the dance called “ baby mama dance” and 5 hours later I was in labor

I heard getting symptoms of a cold could be a sign that labor is near— this wasn’t true for me though. But they also say that getting a really good nights rest (which is obviously very rare towards the end of pregnancy) could help you go into labor, and also a tummy ache that feels like you’re about to have explosive diarrhea could be an indicator (sorry tmi)— but the last two were true for me

Stomach ache, diarrhea, slept all day, no appetite.
