How do you know if you are dilated? Does your water have to break so you can be dilated? I'm 38 weeks and I still don't…

Girl i was checked 4 days before my due date and was not dilated at all lol. Then on my due date. I had contractions went to the hospital and was 4 centimeters. Did not expect that haha

@gordis13, girl I hate walking. I hate wiping myself cuz I get lower stomach pain. The past 4 nights around 1030 11 at night she moves a lot lot lot lot. And when she moves her head 😳😩 I have to lay on my other side so I don't feel her as much. I'm like you little booger what are you doing? Quit moving your head. I will randomly get sharp vagina pains. It's my first baby. It's her dads second baby so he's more chill.

Last week I did. She was turning something I forgot brain dead over here. But it was old blood coming out. It wasn't much. She warned me that it will happen.

@gordis13, she did check. They've been checking these past 3 weeks. She said that my cervix softened I'm 50 to 70%

They swab your vagina and ur but to see if you have bacteria when baby is born and if it comes out positive they will put antibiotics so u won't pass it on too baby @dani4269

Every dr is different too hopefully you get it done tomorrow. The strep b doesn't hurt but when they check your cervix it don't either just a lot of pressure that's it @lyanne

@gordis13, nope supposively they do it around 37-38 weeks 😒 I just got off the phone with them, they are pissing me off lol i'm just getting so impatient honestly, does it hurt ?

they don't always check you, you would maybe have to ask your doctor to check you for dilation. and I don't think you can feel when your dilating I don't know I was dilated till I went to l&d I was already at 9cm and my water didn't break!

After 36 weeks you can ask them they don't always offer. I asked and they're usually ok with it

Well I have pressure down their and it hurts to walk. Maybe your open have u asked if their gonna check you?

For me some say u don't feel dilating I don't feel it but every time I pee and wipe I feel my vagina more open and I kinda had a feeling I was dilated and sure enough my dr checked me yesterday and am 3cm. Your dr is supposed to check you for that

You never know you're dilated until they check you and it doesn't mean labor. I was an1 and a half at 33 weeks, got induced at 39'weeks
