Hi everyone, this is my first post and I'm needing some support and or help, my LO is almost 6 months old and I have nursed him up to this point, I am a hairdresser and started a job at a salon back in October and my supply dropped, I tried everything to get it back but was only getting 3oz at a time, I was getting 6 up to this point. I tried power pumping, more water, more vitamins, herbal supplements, tea, drops everything that was suggested. So after the holidays I decided to completely stop nursing... This has made me so depressed I cry every night to go to sleep, I haven't had any depression up to this point and I feel like I made the wrong choice but my supply wasn't increasing and I wasn't even getting enough to support him at home...

If your supply dropped and you did all you could then theres absolutely nothing to beat yourself up over. Eventually you have to stop thats just how it works love its normal.

@xchas thank you, it is just making me so depressed all of the sudden and sad I'm not sure why:/

@brittanyshanahan19 I feel like thats understandable. I've never breast fed but I know its a very close bond you have with your child and its totally acceptable to be depressed once you stop ESPECIALLY if it's because of things beyond your control.. try to tell yourself you did amazing for the time you had because you did!. Some women cant even make it that far their bodies just wont. I think its awesome you got to experience what you did get to 😊

They sell breast milk cookies🍪🍪🍪🍪 made with fenugreek seeds. Regardless if you haven't b.fed in a while you'll be able to feed again if baby latches. Keep me posted if buy.
