Bad mommy!!! :( I dropped my phone on my baby's head this morning when I was nursing her!! :*( She cried, I cried... It…

Omg one time I was holding ds and asked my brother for the remote. Instead of walking over and handing it to me like a normal person, his lazy butt threw it, it bounced off the couch and hit ds square in the forehead! My poor boy has had so many bumps...lol...no worries like I said before, he's fine.

Less than 30 minutes after getting home from the hospital, I was sitting on the couch nursing my son, feeling quite exhausted, and I went to put him over my shoulder to burp him and I overcompensated and nearly tossed him over the back of the couch onto the hardwood floor! And the other night I was nursing him in the recliner and I grabbed a throw pillow off the couch to put under my left arm which was supporting his head. And when I moved the pillow over his head to place under my arm, the zipper on the damn pillow scratched his head! He cried and I cried.

my 8 mo old wasn't pulling himself up on things yet so I didn't buckle him in his highchair. I was sitting right there. well my 2 yo woke up from.his nap and I went to let him over he gate and I heard a thud baby jumped out of his high chair landed head first. he cried for a minute. hes just fine. the poor kid has the biggest head and littlest body.

My 3 year old daughter threw my phone at me and it hit my son on the head while I was nursing him. It was awful. I got mad, she cried I dragged her to her room while holding the crying baby. Not a fun day.

i did that before but never told a soul. i felt sooooooo bad. few days later my SO did the same thing, i wasnt in the room when i heard dd screaming. i came in like awww whats the matter (in my baby voice) and my SO looks at me with the crazy sad face and said "babe, i hurt her" he felt so bad. turns out he was talking on the phone and it fell and hit her in the head. she was fine tho but he felt like the worst dad ever.

Haha it's ok! It happens. My daughter was a few months old and she was in her baby swing , I was cleaning the room. I tripped and fell on her... Actually my ass fell on her lol!! Not all the way but enough for me to freak out. Funny now that I look back on it

I've never told anyone this.. But when my son was not even 2 weeks old, he was sitting in his boppy on the couch (very bad idea and I haven't done it since) but I was making him a bottle and he slipped right onto the floor ): he was ok but I felt sooooo bad.

I dropped my large professional camera on my baby about a week after my husband dropped her while sleeping on thr couch. She cried for a second but it made me feel awful.

some lady told me a story the other day about a mom eho dropped her beeborn on the bus!!!! i think baby will be just fine!

I have accidentally effed up more times in the past 3 days than the entire 7 months he's been around! Let's see. I:

... accidentally made his avocados too thick which gagged him (and his face turned red as he wasnt breathing) and since he'd never done that before I panicked and smacked him on the back before I figured out to scrape it out of the back of his mouth. He cried, I cried.

...left him sitting on the couch while I ran to get milk and came back to him chewing on some paper towel he'd found. Took it away and thought everything was fine until he started to gag after the bottle - seems he'd chewed off a little piece and it got wet from the milk and was almost down his throat but was gagging him. I fished it out and panicked while he cried.

... accidentally warmed up his baby food a bit too warm and it wasn't hot enough to burn his mouth, but it was still too warm for him and he cried.

I feel like mother of the year. Not. Just gotta use them as learning experiences, I guess.

I've knocked his head into door frames also. He doesn't even notice lol idk if thats a good or bad thing.

I've hit door frames with my kid, and once I hit him in the head with a pringles can. kids are resilient :)

And you know, now that I think about it... Nothing compares to my OB-GYN cutting my baby's butt with the scalpel when they were cutting me open!!! (c-section) Grrr!!!

Don't feel bad! I can't tell you how many times I bumped ds's head into the door frame as I walked through! He's a very intelligent - maybe too smart for his own good - 6yr old now.

This is going to sound sooooo bad haha! When my son was 1 month old we were out at my lake and we would go visiting are neighbors around the camp fire! Well I had him in this old school stroller like really old!!! And the strap only wen over the waste and then there was a piece the clicked up at the bottom so they couldn't slide out! It's hard to explain it! Anyways I was going back to our campsite and had to go up on a step so I went on backwards and lifted the back end up on it first! Well the piece at the bottom was obviously not working right because my son slipped right out onto the ground!! Yup I almost had a heart attack I cried and held him for like a hour! Luckily he was completely fine he barely even cried but I sure did!!!

I pinched my little one's thigh in her car seat when she was about 6 months hold. She was really squirmy and moved just as I buckled it. She cried, I cried. It was horrible. I ended up being like 20 minutes late to where we were going because I got her out and held her and cried. She had a mark for days and every time I saw it I'd tear up.

You guys made me feel sooo much better!! She has two bumps though! One on her forehead and one on her eyebrow bone! :( I was crying and my 5 year old said "what's wrong mommy?" I said "I am the worst mommy! I dropped my phone on her head!" His eyes got really wide and he looked so worried and he goes "Yes you are, mom!! But just give her some candy and she might forgive you!" Haha!

I dropped my iPad on my sons head, he looked at me for a second like wtf and then screamed, I gave him to my mum once he calmed down and came back in to get him 5 minutes later he was smiling until he saw (sp) me lol the crabby look on his face was like oh it's you

same thing happened to me, I was nursing and on bb !!! he didn't even cry, I was the one crying lol I even took him to the doc the next day :/ he laughed and told me hes fine

I did the same exact thing when my LO was maybe a week old! I cried for an hour! I was so mad at myself!

Don't beat yourself up. It happens. A few weeks ago I was changing a diaper. I went to pull a wipe out I the dispenser and ended up picking up the whole box. The wipe came free and the box fell on his head. He forgave me.

Not that bad. She'll be fine. I'm in no position to judge. I've done worse.

Not getting into it, don't want to be crucified.

Doctors said children are resilient, we worry over nothing.
