When I was younger my mom always said to get in a hot shower or bath when your sick. It always made me feel better! My boyfriend is Mexican and his mom always tell us not to go outside or shower when we're sick??? What do y'all think? I was told germs make you sick not the weather
Yesterday I went out with my boyfriend went to watch a movie, me and him don't live together yet. but point is yesterday when he was dropping me off his like sleep over at my house witch the mom and dad lives. I said no, his response was why is everyone deciding or making choices for you and their going to do the same with the baby, when I know that's not true. what he thinks is that my mom tells me not to sleep over. So he left all mad. and I felt in my heart that he went on and cheated on me and did something else with an other girl.... and it's 10:51 am now and he hasn't texted me at all. and after he dropped me off I texted him saying what I felt and nothing. I don't know if I'm over reacting or what or what should i do. do i wait until he text me?
Baby Shower Dress?! Shopping has been difficult and I can't decide which dress for my shower? Keeping gender a surprise!
Things I never thought I'd say... Until I became a mom:
So I just found out I'm pregnant with my second baby on Thursday and I told my mom on Friday after my fiance told his mom and dad and today I was talking with my mom and if baby is a boy I'm not going to have a baby shower but if it's a girl it's going to be a small baby shower and my mom told me that I can't have another baby shower that it's now how it works. So do I have a shower or not? Any advice?
Sometimes I don't want to be a mom I'm sitting in my room folding laundry, the washer, dryer, and dishwasher all running in the back. My oldest is in the living room watching toy story while my youngest is in the kitchen standing on his chair in front of the refrigerator drinking water straight from the dispenser. He slept well last night except for the random yelling in the middle of the night. I still haven't showered. I run my fingers through my hair and feel it greasy, "that's right I gotta shower and get ready before I have to go into town in a couple hours" i think to my self. I begin to think of some other random things when my thoughts are interrupted by the constant yelling of "mom" by both my kids. I look around the room and the kitchen. It's a mess. Regardless of the fact that I had just cleaned it. My husband will be home and see the mess. Once again think that I don't do anything around the house. Sometimes I don't want to be a mom. When I look at the careless girl walking in the store. Looking at things for herself. Sometimes I don't want to be a mom, when I remember I only have one good bra. Sometimes I don't want to be a mom when I am so mentally and emotionally drained and exhausted i can't even remember my own thoughts. Sometimes i don't want to be a mom when I say I'm a stay at home mom to an old friend who's now doing what I always wanted to do. Maybe I'm selfish. Maybe I'm not fit to be a mother. Maybe I'm the worlds worst mother. I feed my kids, dress them, try and raise them as a good addition to the world, I love them. I tell them they are my everything. And yet deep inside. Sometimes I don't want to be a mom. And it kills me inside every single day.

I'm a mutt (hispanic and white) lol and the hispanic side would always say not to go out in cold weather with wet hair because your face can go crooked and stay like that. 😕😑

@larubia2723 @jaxons.mom09 I understand not going outside after showering but she tells us not to shower at all but my mom and doctor tells me to soak or shower so the steam can help clear me up.

i'm Hispanic and my mom said don't be going outside if you're sick, or outside right after a shower. and get in a hot shower/bath to clear a stuffed up nose or sore throat. 🤷🏽♀️

I think is a hispanic thing cuz my mom always put that in my head dont :( outside with your hair wet or ull get sick cux is too cold but really is all about germs
