Yesterday I went out with my boyfriend went to watch a movie, me and him don't live together yet. but point is yesterday when he was dropping me off his like sleep over at my house witch the mom and dad lives. I said no, his response was why is everyone deciding or making choices for you and their going to do the same with the baby, when I know that's not true. what he thinks is that my mom tells me not to sleep over. So he left all mad. and I felt in my heart that he went on and cheated on me and did something else with an other girl.... and it's 10:51 am now and he hasn't texted me at all. and after he dropped me off I texted him saying what I felt and nothing. I don't know if I'm over reacting or what or what should i do. do i wait until he text me?
@itsamemario, you deleted your post before I could hit send but this is my comment: I don’t know if this answers your question but this is my answer. My son is 7 and he knows race and color. Why? Because he himself comes from a family that is multi racial and because he has already experienced racism. I also believe as his mother it’s my job to teach him color and the cold hard truth about society. He knows what’s going on in this world. I’d be hurting him if I allowed him to blindly walk outside without this information. Children of color are being targeted and killed too. It’s not just adults. I let my son know we treat everyone equally and with respect. I let him know that we love everyone for their differences. In every aspect. Color, race, ethnicity, religion, sexual preference we love everyone.
So over this feeling! Ever since I've had ds, OH and I have fought my mother on not wanting to give ds a dummy just cause we don't like them and find he self soothes. For the past three times my mother has had him, she has gone against our rule and given him a dummy and of course I spoke to her about it (that's all my knowledge on how many times she's done it). On Sunday we celebrated my stepfathers birthday and due to OH working I had to do it alone which isn't the thing that bothered me. The thing that bothered me was no matter what I said regarding ds I wasn't listened to. I told my mother to sit behind ds if she was going to sit him up on the floor as he hasn't got the whole balance thing down pact but she didn't and then ds falls and starts crying cause he hurt himself, I picked him up and my mother just came and took him off me! I told her he can't forward face yet as he is below the shoulder line in order to forward face but they did anyway. I get it's her first grandchild and she's excited but I never got to share the news about ds's first tooth or his first attempt at crawling to the family because she already done it. Yes I know, I probably sound petty asf! I had to repeatedly ask my mother to take me and ds home as he was tired and close to the over tired stage. On the way home ds fell asleep, luckily I was sitting beside him and looked at him cause he had fallen asleep and had his head facing down so I quickly grabbed his head and held it up till we got home.
I know they "say"'not to put bumpers in the cribs but my son moves around so much in there when he cries that he bangs up his head and face on the bars 😟 and hits his soft spot and I don't want him to really hurt himself.. I'm thinking of just doing it. Hell he's slept with me the past almost 3 months and they say not to do that either. He could really hurt himself if I don't put them in. Do any of you ladies do something else instead to prevent this? Maybe I should ask his doctor and see what she saids.
So last night my husband pretty much told me that if I don't have sex with him that he would cheat on me....I was like wtf. I was like you would seriously cheat on your pregnant wife?! I also told him that if he cheats on me I will NOT hesitate to file for divorce. I don't need my girls growing up thinking that cheating is ok. This was after we tried to have sex but it hurt too much so I told him to stop. When it comes to sex my husband only thinks about himself lately!!!! 😒😒😒😒

My daughter always did that I just grab her and make it so she can't squirm away and I'll hold the back of her head against my chest and tell her I'm not going to let go until she stops and when I finally let go because she stops I would say don't so it again or I'm going to do it again

@kcamps that's how I feel too! I'm like should I ignore it and let him beat the crap out of his head? Or should I reprimand him for it, this giving him attention for it, but save him from potentially causing serious damage? I go back and forth with myself about it and am trying to avoid going to the Dr if possible bc I absolutely hate the hospital we have to go to.

My son will purposely bump something then pretend like hes dying. Or he will do it to be funny. Hes covered on bruises. Hes just a rough a tough boy

That’s what my two year old does, he does it when he throws his tantrums. I’ve been told to just ignore it and not have any kind of reaction, but then again being that he’s one it can be even more nerve wracking, it makes me nervous that he’s going to do serious damage to his head. Maybe call his doctor and see what they recommend you doing?
